Again, I want to give props to Split for his analysis:
Split T wrote:Ya, I'd avoid Brown at all costs. He's a big athlete that can draw fouls, but he's not a creator or a shooter. He had like 6 turnovers today too. I think best case scenario, he's a Corey Maggette.
I think he nailed it with this comp. Probably the only thing that would have made me feel worse about the Suns' draft is if they traded up or drafted Jaylen Brown. Ainge has made some pretty big draft blunders, James Young being one of them. Marcus Smart, a very defensible pick by the way, has been an atrocious shooter.

If I were a Celtics fan, I'd really feel bad that I'm walking away from the 2-16 offseason with Jaylen Brown and maxed out role player. Ugh.
Trendon Watford. Please and thank you.

Anybody know if Booker is playing today? I have a feeling he's not.

Yeah, I don't know enough about him to know if it's a good comp or not. I'll be keeping my eyes on the kid in this game and in the future.

I kinda hope Book doesn't play. Wonder if Bender will double down on the aggression.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

Coro said one more game that is probably Tuesday. I thought he was leaving to practice w/ the USA select team but that isn't until the 18th.

Bender and Book checking each other. Demtrius Jackon and Ulis. R.J. Hunter and Booker.

Bender with 2 bad turnovers. One on a 2 on 1 the other a careless pass to Book.
Book with a monster block on R.J. Hunter.

Dudley joining the crew for an interview.

Both when he was trying to force passes instead of making a play himself.

That was a kick ball. Not sure what the refs were thinking.

I didn't see any of the first game, so this is my first glimpse at the new guys.

Bender looks hesitant. He's traveled (uncalled) the last two times he touched the ball.

Chriss is what I've always thought he was.

Ulis looks great. Can we get him some HGH?
