Suns Stories

Eric Bledsoe scores a career-high 40 points to lead Suns over Toronto: It's a question Eric Bledsoe didn't care to answer. At least not in a locker room in front of notepads, cameras and audio recorders. Is he playing his best basketball as a professional? The Suns point guard has made a strong case these past two games, not flashy, but efficient, chipping away at opponents with his passing, foul-line accuracy and awkward-looking runners that are starting to drop with greater frequency - http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/n ... /96934112/

Young Suns and coach Watson learning on the job: When Earl Watson took over in Phoenix last February in a game against the Raptors, he became the youngest head coach in the NBA. Luke Walton has since surpassed him in that regard, but at 37, he still has much to learn as he embarks on what he hopes is a long coaching journey. That’s why Watson quickly tabbed Canadian national team head coach and ex-Raptors bench boss Jay Triano to be his top lieutenant back in July. - http://www.torontosun.com/2017/01/22/yo ... on-the-job

Bledsoe posts rare 40/13 game for franchise - http://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2017/ ... se-history

When he isn't injured and playing like a real PG like last night, absolutely. When he turns into a bowling ball and doesn't make the pass he should make, not so much. Or when he misses half of every other year.

Thanks for that, Indy. It's important that we say that kind of stuff more often. Shout it from the roof tops. Make sure everybody hears it and don't let them forget it!

I don't know if anybody mentioned that fantastic lob to Chriss last night. A thing of beauty. I've been meaning to mention that Warren has got that pass down great to Chriss. Those two have a special connection going.

It's a broken record that I haven't heard before.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Yep, it's important to repeat it especially after a 40 point, 13 assist, 6 rebound game. People might forget.

Don't worry. It doesn't count if it's sarcasm.

I actually liked Price when he was here. But our signing him implies that we actually want to win games, which is saddening. I would hope that he'd be here just to mentor Ulis or something like that. But they will probably make him our full-time backup PG and pull Ulis out of the rotation. Argh.

This makes no sense unless we're about to ship out one or two guards. Price should not be getting minutes ahead of Ulis or Barbs and we only have room for 1 in the rotation right now.

I hope this means there's a trade in the works. I like Ronnie, but he makes no sense for this team as currently constituted.

Could Barbosa be on the way out? I don't see how it can make sense to have both of them.

I like Ronnie, someone said he's very close with Devin Booker. Basketball wise I just don't want him playing over Ulis. This makes me think that we're going to push for that 8th playoff spot on the backs of veterans.

Of course. Looks like we haven't learned our lesson yet.
