Really liking the vision from Booker and the cutting by Chriss. Nice to see.
Re: Game Day: Pelicans (21-34) @ Suns (17-38), Mon 2/13/17
Chriss is making strides, gaining confidence. Just gotta learn to rebound and not foul and he will be a decent 4.
Jones and Vogel gotta go.

Yup. And we traded him and next thing you know, Robert Sarver owns the team. God's punishment for trading the team's best player.In2ition wrote:I am guessing you were being sarcastic. Wasn't Marbury our best player back in the day?Nodack wrote:It makes sense. Bledsoe is our best player. We should trade him right away.
Don't believe me? Trading Nash brought us the pick that brought us Knight. The Lord's vengeful hand at work again.

I remember back earlier this season someone who went to the game said that Watson doesn't even talk to the guys during timeouts. Is that still happening? They just showed a huddle and where the coach normally would be Chandler was sitting there talking to the guys.
Does the coach really not coach at all during the games?

How much can you actually coach during a game though? You cant get into your players heads and make them over think things, I know when I played, it was basically you know what youre supposed to do, now go do it, if you dont, have a seat.EDC wrote:I remember back earlier this season someone who went to the game said that Watson doesn't even talk to the guys during timeouts. That floater by Knight was way off. He has to be praying he is traded so he can just start over somewhere else.
Re: Game Day: Pelicans (21-34) @ Suns (17-38), Mon 2/13/17
I dont think we can move him without attaching a 1st rounder. I'd rather we try to rehab him to recoup some value when we do move him.EDC wrote:That floater by Knight was way off. He has to be praying he is traded so he can just start over somewhere else.

Really? I dunno. You can adjust how your players are covering certain guys or the pick and roll. Tell them where they need to pick up the effort. Like we need more guys crashing the defensive boards or we need to make sure we box out this guy. Stuff like that.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:How much can you actually coach during a game though? I can't imagine Pop not talking to his guys during a timeout. Hell Pop yells at them from the sideline constantly through out the game. Watson just paces and can't be bothered to say anything during timeouts.
Maybe if we were winning you could say well it is just his style. The problem is whatever he is doing isn't working all that well.
Re: Game Day: Pelicans (21-34) @ Suns (17-38), Mon 2/13/17
Come on Len. He just tried to move the ball through his defenders body. Got to be smarter than that.
Re: Game Day: Pelicans (21-34) @ Suns (17-38), Mon 2/13/17
Knight with a drive that didn't include him snapping his head back and trying to sell the foul. Just went up strong and got the and one. Nice.

Rarely do we see video of the suns bench during timeouts. I wouldn't read too much into Chandler leading the discussion on the bench in that one clip. I'm sure Watson talks to the team during games.EDC wrote:Really? I dunno. You can adjust how your players are covering certain guys or the pick and roll. Man, if Len would just commit to going up strong and not doubt himself.. He could be something.
Jones and Vogel gotta go.

I dunno. I can't remember who it was but someone on this forum said that during the whole game Watson just talked to the other coaches during the game never addressed the players.Split T wrote:Rarely do we see video of the suns bench during timeouts. Anyone else been to any games able to chime in on this? Just really curious.

League pass alert: Nuggets up 25 on Warriors at halftime. Nuggets are 16/23 from 3. What's the record for 3's in a game? It's in danger tonight

Rox went 24-61 against the Pels in December. 24 and 61 were both records.Split T wrote:League pass alert: Nuggets up 25 on Warriors at halftime. Nuggets are 16/23 from 3. What's the record for 3's in a game? It's in danger tonight

Leave that stupid kid hanging on the rim. He can be any Suns player and he chooses to be Knight?!

Haven't had a chance to tune in tonight. Are we going to win this one or Snus-it-up?
Go Suns!
