It's sports, that's all it is to me. Obviously ones allegiance should always be to ones self (unless there are children involved) but I don't care when it comes to sports. Ruin competitive balance of a sport i love, I will root against you. I do not care if Durant did what he did for himself, I'm not gonna root for him. Re: Playoff Predictions
So you are rooting against not because of the decision he made for himself (which might have been the best one he could make), but because it upset your enjoyment of NBA basketball? If so, I get it.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:It's sports, that's all it is to me. No one asked me, but I don't care what these guys do with their FA decisions unless they are considering the Suns. I don't watch a lot of basketball outside of the Suns, the NBA playoffs, and UofA games.
Go Suns!

Cavs VS Warriors, a huge shocker.

Re: Playoff Predictions
Every prediction I made for the first round was correct
It's one game late but I'll actually make them for the second round:
- Cleveland over Toronto in 6,
- I'd say Wizards in 7 if Kieff can still play, Celtics in 6 if not,
- Warriors sweep the Jazz, not enough offense for Utah,
- Rockets over Spurs in 7.
PS: Good predictive performance Mori(M)arty.

Re: Playoff Predictions
I picked all the right winners for the first round, not the right number of games. I went Houston over spurs, warriors over jazz, wizards over Celtics, and raptors over Cavs
Re: Playoff Predictions
I predicted all the correct winners. I was off by only 1 game total in the East (Boston/Chicago series) and 1 game total in the West (Houston/OKC).

Re: Playoff Predictions
Second round predictions: (I know the second round has already started but these were my thoughts before the games tipped off, just didn't find the time to post)
Cleveland - Toronto: 4-3 Cleveland
Washington - Boston: 4-3 Washington
San Antonio - Houston: 4-3 Houston
Golden State - Utah: 4-1 Golden State
Not that confident in any of these.

Golden State - Utah: 4-1 Golden State

It's risky to predict that Houston will beat Houston.pickle wrote:Second round predictions: (I know the second round has already started but these were my thoughts before the games tipped off, just didn't find the time to post)

More seriously, I don't think Toronto has a chance against Cleveland. But we can hope.

Re: Playoff Predictions
To be fair, Houston could totally beat Houston if they get hot with their shooting.

Kinda weird that Utah is the only one with a state name, and not the city name...

Around the league, there's also Indiana and Minnesota. Does New York count?pickle wrote:You must be a programmer... you summed that up way better than I could have.Hermen wrote:His format was: teamA - teamB: winnerWins-loserWins winningTeamO_Gardino wrote:It's risky to predict that Houston will beat Houston.pickle wrote:Second round predictions: (I know the second round has already started but these were my thoughts before the games tipped off, just didn't find the time to post)
