NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs Round 1

Post by In2ition »

I'm a huge fan of the Greek Freak's game. I'm going for the Bucks vs. the Raptors. Although, I'm super impressed woth the passion of the Toronto crowd. There must be at least 3000 people outside the stadium for this game right now. I can't wait to see thos kind of passion back in Phoenix, hopefully soon.

I can't tell you how impressive Giannis and the Bucks were. Only 5 turnovers as a team. 5! In a playoff game! Giannis was 13-18 for 28/8/3.

Me either. Poor Raptors. They seem to always struggle in the playoffs. I thought it would be different due to their depth. They have their work cut out for them.

This guys really likes to come from behind, don't they?

Great to see those fearless Bucks, fully engaged on the task.

You called it.

The game was close until Greg Monroe took over. :o

Fully engaged is a good way to put it. Kidd coached a heck of a game. Even with Greeky off the floor for a bit, the Bucks kept moving the ball and taking turns attacking.

Really felt bad for IT in the Celtics' game one. Had to be gut wrenching. Basketball doesn't have a lot of meaning after his loss.

Can't believe the lowly Bulls beat the Celtics in Game 1. Butler with 30 points and 9 boards. Isaiah Thomas with 33 despite the tragic passing of his sister this week.

I couldn't believe it as well, until I notice that brutal difference in rebounding. Not a good sign when your starting center ties your opposing PG in total rebounds.

IT put up 33/6/5 on 10-18 from the field and Barkley talked shit about him crying on the sidelines? I know Charles doesn't have a mute button but come on man.

It must have been during the game. I watched the show after the OKC/HOU game and he was very respectful of his situation. What did he say exactly?

Yea that's a really tough situation for IT4

My whole thing with the Celtics is I'm not sure why they didn't trade for Jimmy. Not wanting to give up their top 3 pick which might be a pg and that probably would not make IT4 feel too good or doing the Jaylen Brown thing again drafting a top 3 pick to groom and bring along slowly doesn't make much sense to me. Isaiah ability to score is amazing but in a seven game series it is too tough to have him be the only player scoring in Isos or off the dribble. With Jimmy willing to mark him, having a bigger body on him will eventually wear him out also

Call me a heightist as I've got nothing to base it on, but that's my take as well.
