So glad we mostly sat things out from a major free agent signing standpoint last year.
Still can't believe we are paying Dudley 30 million in hopes that he wont play. Glad he's here, but I can't believe the number.

Welcome to the new NBA where you pay 10 mil a year for a quality veteran to mentor your young guys and play spot minutes.

Speaking of which, I was NOT impressed with the younger Millsap last year.

I am usually pretty even keeled when it comes to our moves, but this one would tilt me. Hopefully, the Millsap stuff is all just rumors and posturing.

Who is SA after? I kinda think it would be Isaac. Kawhi and Isaac together at the 3/4 could be scary on D. Could be after Fox too.

Gambo just said the Spurs offered LMA and Green for #3.

So that's what they offered Ainge for #3. Hmm. LMA would have been a great get as an UFA, when all you are giving up is money. But to give up a top 5 pick plus the money, and the player is two years older now, I don't think so.

Got to be Jackson. Wait. If they are giving up LMA and Green, they need a pf/c but they also really need a pg. So Fox or Isaac based upon need. But they could also just be after a player they really like based upon BPA concept.

SA loves to draft raw players that they can mold.

I'm guessing that they would go for Fox and keep Simmons. They probably see Fox as a future superstar pg for years to come to be able to combat the pgs in the league. Plus, they have the best shooting coach in the league and probably are convinced that they can fix the shot pretty quickly.

I think SA really likes Murray. I don't think they would be moving LMA & Green for Fox.

It is one of the silly things about Houston's claims that Harden makes everyone better. Anderson really had a down here; couldn't hit anything in Toyota Center.

And as much people like to esteem NBA GMs, at the end of the day, despite all of the resources, analytics, and time put in, these guys just do really stupid stuff. A lot.

There is nothing great about LaMarcus Aldridge. Suns dodged a bullet there.

Phoenix might be the only team holding a top-10 pick that could acquire Aldridge with confidence that it isn't just a one-year engagement.
