It's an overpay for sure, but I understand why NO did it. If we had two top 5 big men and Bledsoe was our only guard and we didn't have the cap space to sign anyone else, then ya, I'd sign bledsoe for that amount. You're not winning anything with star bigs and d league guards. Granted, NO might not win anything anyways, but signing Jrue is their only shot. Unless they decide to trade AD, which actually might be a good idea. I think Boston would unleash all their assets for him. Hypothetical here, lets say NO struggles and we overachieve a bit. We're not a playoff team, but we're looking like an 8-10 pick. NO decides to part ways with Cousins while they can still get something for him, would you trade for him? What would you offer?
