Those are pretty gaudy stats for a guy with a dad bod.

JJJ just had a guard pinned on his back and the Michigan St guards just ignored him. Sometimes I hate college basketball...

JJJ has spent most the game on the bench in foul trouble. Bridges has had some moments. His shot off the dribble has looked good. His teammates have missed him twice on easy backdoor lobs.

I'm just not sure about him in the NBA. I think he needs to be a 4 in order for his off the dribble game to be effective. Just not sure he'll be able to defend the 4 and his offense isn't special.

Yep; it's hard for bigs on offense in college basketball.

Haas for Purdue is killing the Mich St centers. I'd like to see Jackson guard him.

Foul trouble has been JJJ's problem all year and probably will effect him in his early years in the NBA too.

He'll fit right in with Chriss! ;)

He'll fit right in with a lot of Suns big men over the years.

Man, I don't know about Bagley and Carter Jr. They look great on paper, but they just don't seem that impactful when I watch them. There are too many times on D where that combo looks lost, and during the game, there are so many small plays they don't finish, whether it be a rebound, a pass, a rotation...I don't know. I'm just underwhelmed.

It might be because they are college freshman? Just a guess though.
Go Suns!

Maybe. I mean Bagley looks like he is a sure-fire candidate to compete for the league lead in rebounding. Other than that...I'm just not that confident in what he can be at the next level.

Wendell Carter Jr. reminds me of A.C. Green.

Does he have his discipline? I just don't see Carter and Bagley as a great match on defense. If Carter was by himself, he could have been talked about as a top tier guy.

Probably not; A.C. stayed virgin until he was married.

I'm officially moving JJJ to the top of my board. I maintain the right to move him back down though.

I don't like that he's only averaging 6 rebounds per game.

That's fair, he does only play 22 minutes a game though and is exclusively playing the 4 and spends a lot of time away from the hoop. Still, he doesn't look like a great rebounder and that's a little worrisome next to our current non rebounding bigs.
