We're trading up for Trae aren't we? Trae/Booker/Jackson/Ayton...gonna be a lot of 130-129 games
Getting Trae would be great. He has three great NBA skills. Shooting, ball handling, passing. While his defense is not great, he would be a better defender of opposing pg's than Doncic (who should be able to guard the 2-4 positions).

Young and Booker would be one horrific backcourt defensively.

If Miles Bridges falls, how does he fit here?
I don't think it matters. He's extremely talented and athletic. He's better than Chriss and Bender right now. You take him and figure it out. I'd probably consolidate TJ and Chriss in a trade if we took him though. At least ship out Chriss.

I actually think he'd fit nicely as a small-ball 4 next to Ayton. He can space the floor pretty well.

At least ship out Chriss as soon as fucking possible because there is a <1% chance he turns into a good player on an NBA team.

Ya that's kinda how I feel. Booker/Jackson/Bridges/Ayton is a nice start.

I'd rather us eat that contract to get Doncic if possible.

No way Memphis should take that deal, but we're talking about Chris Wallace here.

We would definitely have to use at least 16/Warren and the future 1sts from Miami and Milwaukee.

I think that's mostly my point...I don't see how we move up unless Memphis just really, really wants out of that contract. I guess you could replace Dudley with Warren, but that adds long-term money for Memphis. So it depends on how they view Warren.

But Memphis wants to win next year. I guess they could always move the draft picks in a separate deal.

Just because they want to, doesn't mean they have to means to do so.

But it might mean they want win now pieces and not future draft picks
