Really?

That would be great for all if it was for real. First time a heard about such thing, can any one put up a link to see if it wasn’t just FO’s lip service? But it would be really futile to go after Doncic if the feud is still there and they really are close friends, so it plausible that it is true.
I'm not sure if Dragic had an issue with Sarver but it was McD that patched things up with Dragic. I'm sure you could dig up a link if you googled it. There was an article about it on AZCentral this season.

Thanks a lot!

That sounds really good, I was worried about us getting Doncic beware of the Goran conection.

They aren't wrong, but they are wrong.

I've been reading the Stepien since someone posted them a few months ago, and I feel like they are NBA prospect hipsters. They love to talk about what's wrong with certain players, and they are very heavily influenced by a shallow understanding of advanced stats. IMHO

Basically what they say about Bamba:
1. He shouldn't be a top 5 pick. (I haven't seen any mock draft that puts him in the top 5.)
2. His arms are long, but he isn't the physical freak that Gobert is, because he isn't as big or as quick. There's plenty of footage of college guards isolating and driving on him. Especially in this one game.
3. He is exceptionally mobile defending in traffic around the basket, but that won't matter as much in the NBA because NBA teams space the floor better.
4. He's skinny.
5. He doesn't have a consistent motor for rebounding. (In reality, he is the best per-minute rebounder of the top 6 big guy prospects).

It didn't really shed any light on Bamba as a prospect for me.

From everything I read, I will be disappointed if we don't end up with either Doncic or Ayton and then with Bagley being a consolation prize.

Well we have a 46% chance to get Doncic or Ayton, and we never get lucky with these things, so...

I wanted to remember the cumulative odds for us getting each pick, so I did a search of old posts. Here they are:
#1 - 25.0%
#1-2 - 46.5%
#1-3 - 64.2%
#1-4 - 100%
Ugh; I had forgotten that we have a less than 50% chance at a top-2 pick. That's scary. May 15 we'll know for sure...

Not only that we could sign him but that it would get us too much too fast...

Yeah, that seems like a road we've already been down.

Yeah, we all know we're getting the 4th pick. It's nice to dream though.
