Bledsoe

Post by Vladimir_Taltos »

It is time. We need a passing PG! Is there any hope out there, Amy moves to be made? Sigh, still wish we had kept Dragic and traded Bled...

I think it's pretty important for the younger players to get a true point guard and have a little more structure offensively.

Plus, Bledsoe is their best trade asset.

There are very few, as you call them, true point guards left in this league.

We could have traded Bledsoe for Rubio. I was begging for it. I believe Minny was rumored to be shopping him and even also rumored to like Bled. We didn't bite.

We could have traded Bledsoe to Cleveland. They really wanted him. He's Lebron's buddy. We didn't do it.

I don't hate Bledsoe but I really want a pass-first PG running this team. I would be fine with playing Ulis 36 mpg. He gets it. He knows how to find his teammates.

I'd really like to know what McD is thinking when it comes to Bledsoe.

2 preseason games in. I don't hate Bled, but I don't like having him on my team. I hope we are wrong about him and he shows us something more this season, because the alternative is a season of frustration on this site.

I like Bledsoe over Rubio. Rubio might be a better passer. He's not near as much of a threat on offense as Bledsoe. The grass always is always greener on the other side until you stand in it for awhile. They were interested in trading Rubio for Bledsoe? We didn't bite? Maybe there is a good reason.

Nash was a great passer. He was also a great offensive player. Maybe not the greatest defensive player ever to play the game.

He's my avatar.

I love lamp.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Trade Potentials?
Blazers - Damian Lillard
Grizzlies - Mike Conley
Goran Dragic - Heat
Jrue Holiday - Pelicans
Elfrid Payton - Magic

Did-cuss...any worth considering...any possible to get? Picked these as their stats seem to track with maybe at least a LITTLE better passing focus in their game. This is not exhaustively researched, it was a top level pull, so don't be too critical...its just to kick the ball around on the idea.

I think it's safe to say Goran's days in Phoenix are done, and the Blazers and Grizz aren't looking to trade their PGs. I think Holiday is too recently signed to be tradable right now.

I think the Bucks could use Bledsoe the most, though I really don't know what they would give back. Among the teams with playmaking forwards they look the weakest at PG.

Bucks and Nuggets. Indiana too, if they somehow are competitive in this East. Hell, even San Antonio since Parker is injuried.

Isn't New York still looking for a mentor for young Ntilikina?

The only way to make a deal there, would be for us to take back a LOT of salary, so they would have to give us a very good pick or 2 to make it worth it.

Bledsoe, Chriss, Bender, 1st round pick for Porzingis and salary ballast.

If the Clips get off to a rough start, I'd throw them in as possible Bledsoe suitors. Especially if Beverley starts making noise about wanting to get paid.
