Agreed, almost put them on my list but at first sight, Toedosic and Beverly seem enough to hold the PG position for them, especially since offense can go through Griffin a bit.

Other Ideas
D Leaguers
Josh Magette
Phil Pressey
Kendall Marshall

Josh is probably who interests me the most in that list at the moment. Just kicking tires...

Taking predictions:

Will Bledsoe be traded?
When will Bledsoe be traded?
What will our record be at that point?
For who?

If you mean this season, my guess would be no.

Has anybody been tracking how other rookies did in the preseason? I don't know if the stats are available or meaningful for them. Mostly I'm curious about the top-10 guys. Has any rookie looked great so far? Is Ball getting crazy assists? Is Fultz a bust already? How is Fox doing in Sacramento? Is Monk showing anything promising in NO? What about Smith in Dallas? I know Markkanen had that one good game, which is great for him. Etc.

Probably not since he's in Charlotte. ;)

I'd rather play 4 on 5 than have Kendall Marshall in a Suns uniform again. Self entitled prick.

From what I've seen Ball did nothing crazy but also skipped a few games. Kuzma probably stole some of his hype (>17ppg, >50fg%). Simmons looked good if you count him as a rookie, Markkanen didn't play much probably because he played at EuroBasket recently, but he played well. Now that Batum is injured Monk got some more minutes and scored a lot but not efficiently. Fox also didn't play much but I remember seeing at least one solid boxscore for what it's worth. Smith also had at least one impressive game, but also some bad ones and he tweaked his ankle. He'll play a lot and I suspect will have plenty of ups and downs this season. I think as far as preseason goes Jackson played as well as anybody.

Sorry for not putting more numbers here but it seems hard to quickly find preseason boxscores.

How 538 classifies our players

Dragan Bender: Future All-Star
Eric Bledsoe: Good Starter
Devin Booker: Up-And-Comer
Tyson Chandler: Scrappy Veteran
Marquese Chriss: Up-And-Comer
Jared Dudley: Rotation Player
Josh Jackson: Great Prospect
Mike James: not in the system
Derrick Jones, Jr: Project
Alex Len: Rotation Player
Brandon Knight: Scrub
Elijah Millsap: Scrub
Alec Peters: Marginal Prospect
Davon Reed: Marginal Prospect
Tyler Ulis: Project
TJ Warren: Project
Alan Williams: Rotation Player

They're higher on Bender than Booker? I did not see that coming.

Can someone explain the classifications to me? How does "project" compare with "prospect." TJ Warren as "project" does not seem right.

Yeah this is goofy. This just confirms to me that national guys don't watch the Suns.

Typo. They must have those reversed.

I assume they compare the players to players of similar ages and try to project from there for their ratings. The most similar to Bender to them is Jermaine O'Neal. The closest to Booker is Bradley Beal. The closest to Jackson is Luol Deng. For Chriss it's Maurice Harkless.

I like how they project dollar value over the next five years. For Knight, it's -$3.7M. Yup, fair value would have him paying us for the roster spot, rather than us paying him $14M a year.

That's his "five-year market value."

So instead of paying him $70 million, he should have paid us $3.7 million.

I think he owes every bit of that and more to Suns fans. However, it was McDonough that thought he was worth it and paid it out. So maybe it's him that owes us.
