Game Day: TWolves (7-4) @ Suns (4-9), Sat 11/11/17

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (6:00 pm PT/9:00 pm ET)
Place: Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBALP

The tank is pointed back in the right direction after 5 losses in a row. Tonight will most likely make it 6 in a row. The Wolves are finally starting to put it together with their young core and added veterans plus Jimmy Butler.

Go Suns!!!

I could see this one being a big blowout. Wolves just have so much more raw talent than we have, and they have better veterans than we have, and they have better coaching than we have. So that's something.

Could be a major beat -down especially if we decided to sleep walk the first 6 minutes again. Plenty of mintues for the young guys though.
Our tendency to pickup silly fouls early that results in bad fouls calls throughout the game worries me also - seems our front court is always in foul trouble.
We will miss Dudley. Duds had been looking like a steady Vet presence out there by playing the right way. So much better than this 'vocal leader' crap some other guys get credit for dong whilst playing bad bball.

Lets hope Jackson is able to build off his last solid game. Wonder if Chriss learned anything from his benching last game after the T.

Suns are hanging in there but we are hitting some tough shots. Definitely won't be able to do it all night. Need to find a way to get some easy buckets.
Go Suns!

9 minutes in:

Booker with 4 early rebounds, and outplaying Butler. Warren lighting it up. Chris with a really decent game so far in the box score and in his general awareness. Bender showing some aggressiveness. The ball moved well with Ulis out there and Teague didn't torch him. Chandler looks ooooooold.

I wonder if he has ever sprinted like that before.

But seriously, he has no feel for scoring.

I think this is the first time I've seen Bender not look like he's in slow motion.

seems like the wolves can get a foul called any time they attack the rim

Yeah, he's gotta embrace being 7 feet tall and dunk on some people. No one was going to challenge him at the rim on that play.
