Well, that's not good.
Josh is on an island
Yikes. Its clear. He needs to focus on his defense and let his offense come in the flow.

Well, somebody has to be our best defender. Who do you think it is?

Chriss is leading us in blocks by a wide margin and has one of the best (OK, least bad) +/-s on the team.
Probably Len. We don't even know how this advanced stat works. That's mostly my point. I wouldn't put too much stock into it.

I'd like to think McD would have taken Tatum if he had the opportunity but we'll never know.

Tatum had Booker written all over him. Smooth, can score at all levels, better athlete than people thought. Ugh.
Jones and Vogel gotta go.

It’s a bit early for this kind of retcon. The official story is that we loved Jackson (projected at 3), and that we stole him from the Celtics with the workout shenanigans. We wanted his personality, defense, and ball handling more than Tatums size and iso scoring ability.

There’s no denying that Tatum is having an infinitely better season so far. In Jackson’s defense, we are just kind of throwing him to the wolves with our second unit. We could really be putting him in a better position to succeed.

He wouldn't have picked Tatum with Jackson on the board. Who knows if Jackson was gone. Also I think it's way premature to start assuming Jackson was the wrong pick. Once upon a time tyreke Evans looked better than harden and curry. Let's give it some time. I still think Jackson was the right pick.

There's really no point in hand-wringing about Tatum. Isaac, Fox, Donovan Mitchell, sure. But we never had an opportunity to draft Tatum so why the angst about it?

Big ups to Danny Ainge, though. Not only did he get possibly the best player in the draft, but he got another potential top 5 pick to go with it.

It's not how you start but how you finish. I agree that it is too early to say that Tatum is ultimately better than Jackson. Let's give them three years and then see where we're at.

Phoenix breaks off talks with Suns over arena overhaul

http://www.12news.com/sports/nba/suns/p ... /491897756
The council has met several times in executive session in recent weeks to discuss the proposed renovation. The council action Tuesday raises questions about the Suns' future in Phoenix if a deal isn't done.

The two sides are reportedly far apart on the terms of the deal.

I've never lived in phoenix, but I don't know if I could remain a Suns fan if they were to move.

This is discouraging. Can't reasonable people come to some sort of agreement.

Is this another one of those situations where an already very profitable NBA team tries to get a city's taxpayers to pay hundreds of millions of dollars to build an arena for them?
