Nice win. We kept our composure better than the Lakers and made fewer mistakes than them.

Good game by Len, Ulis, and Booker without looking at the box score.

Not sure what Caldwell Pope's deal is. Dude's not good enough to talk trash.

Len with 17pts and 18 boards in 26 minutes.
Re: Game Day: Suns (5-11) @ Lakers (6-9), Fri 11/17/17
Also, Bender had some timely 3s.

Nice win considering we played rather poorly I thought. Bad defense, stagnant offense at times. Without Booker we'd win maybe 10 games all year.

Just when you're ready to give up on him he comes up with one of these games. It's so hard to get a read on what his next contract will be.EDC wrote:Len with 17pts and 18 boards in 26 minutes.

i don't get this team
how can a guy who is capable of pulling down 18 boards in 26 minutes, suck so often?
how did we get 15 assists out of these point guards?
well, the only thing i'm sure of, is that Booker alone makes these games watchable

Loved seeing Devin going all Kobe on their asses in their building tonight.

Ya think?Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:Both James and Ulis having good games. Almost as if the Lakers' PG is bad at defense.
Also I am starting to think that maybe Devin Booker is for real.

I felt good about a win tonight before the game when I heard Booker's interview on AZ radio. You could tell he was still sick but he said they were treating this as a must win game. They went out and blew it open a little to end the half and then never relinquished the lead. It was also the first time they won a first quarter in a long time.

Woke up to a google alert on my phone that said, "Phoenix Suns don't surrender 90 point first half, beat Lakers." Lol.

Wow that predictive speech algorithm for the google alerts has gotten to the point it really knows what you want to hear and how you want to hear it.carey wrote:Woke up to a google alert on my phone that said, "Phoenix Suns don't surrender 90 point first half, beat Lakers." Lol.

This is a nit pick on a fun game, but I thought Booker played and shot really well in the first half, but kind of tried to do too much in the 2nd half. If he would have let the game come to him in the 2nd, his box score would have looked much better.

one of my favourite moments from last night. was the right decision by Devin and then yes Bender's body language back to the bench like "they can't fuck wit me" was great. I wasn't too sure bout going back to Josh shortly after though but hey glad we wonO_Gardino wrote:Bender for 3. Timeout. Bender heads to the bench shouting.

Surprised nobody mentioned the mini skirmish tht brke out between Ulis/KCP and Jackson and Warren coming in to defend Ulis and Ball walking away like "who cares". I don't want to see Jackson turning into Kieff, but I love the fact we seemed to have our guys back more then the Lakers so call leader did.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”
