Only way they trade him is if he says he wants out or they decide they want to start all overMarty [Mori Chu] wrote:That hypothetical TJ Warren+assets for Aaron Gordon trade looks better by the day. That said, I’m very okay not being forced to root for him. There are plenty other players in this league I enjoy. He’s at the bottom of the barrel, along with Chris Paul. Very convenient they are on the same team now because I can just flat out hate the Rockets.

Booker is the young player closest to Harden. AND he is much more likable.

Until you double team him and he turns it over 8 outta 10 times.JCSunsfan wrote:We do.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:I wish we had an unguardable gimmick.specialsauce wrote:I really don’t like him. He is so unlikeable. Everything he does seems like a gimmick

Which is probably why they seem to do it on nearly every PnR they run with Booker.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:Until you double team him and he turns it over 8 outta 10 times.JCSunsfan wrote:We do.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:I wish we had an unguardable gimmick.specialsauce wrote:I really don’t like him. Only 26% of the Suns turnovers come from Booker. He is one of the best in the league in that stat among guards. Quite remarkable given his usage. Contrast that to Westbrook and Harden who are in the 40% category.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:Until you double team him and he turns it over 8 outta 10 times.JCSunsfan wrote:We do.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:I wish we had an unguardable gimmick.specialsauce wrote:I really don’t like him. Booker takes care of the ball remarkably well.

The difference is that they get a lot more assists than Booker does -
Booker - 28.4 USG%, 29.0% Ast%, 26.9% Trn%
Harden - 35.8 USG%, 53.9 Ast%, 40.2 Trn%
Westbrook - 32.2 USG%, 58.2 Ast%, 41.2 Trn %
Booker - 28.4 USG%, 29.0% Ast%, 26.9% Trn%
Harden - 35.8 USG%, 53.9 Ast%, 40.2 Trn%
Westbrook - 32.2 USG%, 58.2 Ast%, 41.2 Trn %

According to this, he is making passes that lead to shots as much as those guys.
Edit: The article also addresses his usage and other issues with his game.http://nba.nbcsports.com/2017/12/01/alr ... ar-status/
Despite a slight downtick in minutes, Booker is averaging a career-high 4.0 assists per game. But he has made an even larger jump in potential assists per game – 8.9, fourth among shooting guards (behind only James Harden, DeMar DeRozan and Jimmy Butler).
It's important to remember that he isn't in his prime yet. Harden had 12 pts and 2 assists on .436 shooting at age 21.Efficiency matters, too, though. For his usage percentage (28.9), his true shooting percentage (56.8) is only middling. But it’s above league average for the first time, and he’s just 21. Only Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, LeBron and Durant have matched Booker’s usage and true shooting percentages in their age-21 season or younger.

Yep. I really have nothing to complain about with Booker. He is a 2, those guys are 1's. His turnover rate is remarkably low. He is improving his d.
Re: Around the League: Week 7 11/27-12/3
Sure, as long as he's not asked to run the offense. Once that happens, its ugly and I wish they'd stop trying to do it.JCSunsfan wrote:Only 26% of the Suns turnovers come from Booker. Donovan Mitchell dropped 40 tonight. I really wish we had got him, he looks phenomenal. Also, how stupid does Denver look, they traded Mitchell for Trey Lyles and Tyler lydon? Gross

OK Full Disclosure.... Lol
I have been lurking in the shadows as they say but now as a poster this season I haven't been sure if to post about other teams/players I like lol so hey don't kill me guys . I only used to want to see NBA games when I was a teenager until the first time I saw Kentucky, I played guard at school and was in awe of their full court press and how they got out in transition. I loved Derek Anderson n so been backing Pitino teams. You grow up and learn all the off court stuff unfortunately but man I still like their style of play, I was also a big Francisco Garcia fan (Caribbean ties n long armed dude like me lol) so yea that leads to Donovan. Great kid, I have a younger sis and I find the relationship he has with his to be awesome how she basically critiques or pep talks as necessary after every game to keep him grounded. surprised with his recent efficiency tbh but anyways sorry guys for the long way of saying I'm happy to see him ballin

I hate myself for posting this, but I want to point out how awful the Spurs roster is. Rather, it would be awful for any other team. With Aldridge, Leonard, and Gay out injured, Gasol is the only player on the court drafted above the 29th pick. Yet they still took the Thunder to a close game last night. That team should be getting blown out every night (even when Aldridge is playing). But the Spurs have a winning system, and know how to coach up players to win in the system. Jerks.

Brandon Paul Undrafted, 2017
Kyle Anderson 30th overall, 2014

Bryn Forbes Undrafted 2016
Davis Bertans 42nd overall, 2011
Joffrey Lauvergne 55th overall, 2013

The man with no ethics. What we saw with the defensive decline of Eric Bledsoe in Phoenix, that was so often noticed on message boards, was very simply a lack of effort.Split T wrote:Guess who's playing defense again.

I'm not that upset that he didnt try his hardest. Our team was going nowhere, and we openly tried to trade him. He was rightfully upset and didn't want to be here.
