Oladipo has turned into their Booker, looking forward to that matchup.

Youth? That seems to be the excuse for most of our roster.

I wouldn't say proof. He obviously looks much better this year, but Oladipo actually has nothing but good things to say about Westbrook.
“I feel like I’m in a very comfortable situation now—the most comfortable I’ve ever been since I’ve been in the NBA,” Oladipo says. “Sometimes, a player might not be in the best situation, but people will still label you and judge you regardless.”

Last year, Oladipo spent the majority of his time spotting up from the perimeter and watching Russell Westbrook break defenses down. It was a new role for him. Throughout his basketball life, he’d always been the one tasked with carrying the load.

“It was definitely something I had to adjust to,” Oladipo says. “I wouldn’t say it was hard, but it was something new for me.

Oladipo is adamant about having no issues with Westbrook—or his style of play. On the contrary, he calls Westbrook a close friend and attributes some the success he’s enjoyed this so far this season to spending a year watching him.

“I learned so much from Russ,” he says. “Just his mindset, how relentless he is, those are things I’ve definitely taken with me.”

Westbrook is an easy target for people. Oh Durant left, must've been Russ' fault, couldn't be that Durant is a weenie and took the easy way out. People loved Kobe for the same reason they hate Russ, it's silly.

I've always been a Russ fan, I appreciate how hard he plays. Still, I can see how last year rubbed people the wrong way. Although I think that has more to do with coaching/management than it does with Russ. Durant ditched them and the whole season became the Westbrook show. Westbrook is the most physically overpowering PG the league has ever seen and while he's not my ideal PG, the guy is a pleasure to watch.

So Ulis, Booker, Jackson, Bender, Chandler. Could be fun. We might see some Reed tonight.

I hate both Durant and Westbrook mostly because of the nasty entitled way they deal with reporters. Yes, answering the same question over and over can be annoying but it is part of your job and theirs. The Thunder babied both of those guys and allowed them to get away with being down right nasty. Failing to realize the reporters are one of their biggest links to the fan base.

Teams need to hire PR people to help train players how to be entertaining or at least not off putting. We use to have some pretty entertaining players in the league that would be good for a fun sound bite. Now we just hear a lot of drama and angry words from the players. Yes, half of that is on the reporters and their publications but the NBA could be doing a much better job of training the players on how to respond.

Agreed. I don't like either of them and their on and off court behavior.

I'm really hoping to see Reed tonight. Can Bender keep up his hot streak? Can Josh get back on track?

This is the most hyped I've been for a game in a while.

Bender creating with the ball on the first 2 possessions. 2 misses for the Suns, but I like what we are trying to do.

Josh Jackson for a 3 for our first bucket.
