Game Day (Early Start!): Hornets (22-29) @ Suns (18-35), Sun 2/4/18
Re: Game Day (Early Start!): Hornets (22-29) @ Suns (18-35), Sun 2/4/18
Booker's 1st half 7/6/5 but only 3-8 from the field.
Hard to ignore JJ's recent solid play. 12 points on 5-5 from the field in the 1st half.

Man Jackson has had some bad luck trying to make those statement dunks.

Benders body control on the fade away after the bump. The kid just knows how to play.

Our offense has looked really good in stretches today. Need to pick up the d a bit though.

The hesitation is still there when he pump fakes but once he drives he has been deciding to try get to the basket. It's funny cuz he gets there and it's like Hey I'm 7ft tall I can get off my shot down hereEDC wrote:Benders body control on the fade away after the bump. The kid just knows how to play.

Well Booker still looks in some discomfort but he's got it going in the 3rd

That FT disparity is bonkers. Who would you guess is the home team? Hornets 25 FTAs. Suns 5 FTAs.

This offensive rebounds issue might lead to Hornets coming backbajanguy008 wrote:solid 1st quarter so far, just about everyone contributing. looking like it might be a long evening ahead on the boards though

That's what Warren does that pisses me off. He is 1st Sun down the floor with FOUR Hornets in front of him and he charges to the basket getting an offensive foul. Like hold up and reset the offense, man.

Warren was basically tackled on that offensive rebound. What was the ref thinking.

This is the worst officiated Suns game I've seen in a long time. Warren pushed from the back out of bounds & no call. On the other they reward Hornets with a ticky tack touch foul call.EDC wrote:Warren was basically tackled on that offensive rebound. What was the ref thinking.

Two turnovers and coach makes a change.... he brings back Chandler. Yeah that will stop the bleeding. lol

I can understand Coach not wanting to put Bender and Jackson back in too early. I mean it isn't like they are young and could handle playing 10 minutes in a row.

Well, Dudley's 0 points and 1 rebound have been invaluable.EDC wrote:I can understand Coach not wanting to put Bender and Jackson back in too early. I mean it isn't like they are young and could handle playing 10 minutes in a row.
