Suns Coach 2018-19

Discussion of the league and of our favorite team.

So who do you want to see as a coach in 2018-19 (and beyond)?

Grass isn't always greener: Triano--What more could you ask with the group of guys we had this year and the development we have seen?

Mark Stein was on Gambo and Burns and said that he doesn't think that compensation is a big issue in getting Budenholzer. He said that it would most likely be a second round pick. He said the bigger issue is finances and he wondered how far the Suns would go.

It all went downhill when we sacked Gentry... We haven't yet recovered.. Might be time for a bud.

I would guess it depends on the Bud. It usually runs $60 an eighth for the good stuff & it's time Sarver paid up.
Go Suns!

In the Bible days, people would've been stoned for such bad jokes.

That said, I thought I saw we were interviewing Caleb Kanales? Not sure why we'd be speaking with him after he flamed out as a Blazer. Might just have his name on the list to create a buzz amongst the fans.

I really don't get everyone wanting throw all these picks at Atlanta for Budenholzer. Wow.

It's a sticky situation, but if I can be blunt we need to seal the deal so we're not left holding the bag.

I wouldn't want to either.. But if we're convinced he's the answer I wouldn't hate it. I don't follow coaches enough to really have much of an opinion. The idea of trading 1sts for coaches doesn't sit too well with me. You better be absolutely positive he's an elite coach and the right fit. #31 is basically a 1st so I'd be very hesitant to move it.

I get that Budenholzer is well regarded, but he hasn't done anything as a head coach to warrant having to give up an asset to get him.

Plus, I think there are other good candidates out there.

Wanted to keep his 7 million a year pay even though he no longer had front office responsibilities, suns probably wanted to cut him down to 5
