Suns Coach 2018-19

Discussion of the league and of our favorite team.

So who do you want to see as a coach in 2018-19 (and beyond)?

Grass isn't always greener: Triano--What more could you ask with the group of guys we had this year and the development we have seen?

Kevin McHale is a name I wasn’t expecting to see on that list.

Hmm, not excited about McHale. I'd probably rank them fizdale, Vogel, triano, Clifford, McHale but I don't really know anything about coaches.

Fizdale scares me a little. Strikes as someone stubborn to a fault, can't think outside of the box, and tries to be too old school.

Clifford has a great rep but I don't think he has what it takes to be a great head coach.

Kevin McHale doesn't bring anything to the table, IMO.

Vogel looked good in Indiana and horrible in Orlando. Could go either way.
Trendon Watford. Please and thank you.

We're just pulling names out of a hat at this point. I get wanting to conduct interviews, but does McD have any vision for the team or how he wants them to play? Could McHale and Steve Clifford be more different?

When I got notified, a sense of despair about how this whole off-season was going to be a run of disappointments. I'm trying to keep a positive attitude.

I was getting excited thinking we had turned a corner. They are going to hire someone awful I can just feel it now. I wish you luck in your positivity.

Watch it be Fizdale and this is all on James Jones talking Sarver into Fiz over Bud. Especially after a 2 day interview. That or they went real cheap on their offer.

I really hate almost everything about our front office.

I really think this is a case of Sarver cheaping out. If the money was there, this job checked off a lot of boxes for Bud. The Suns were obviously very interested.

Going from paying the lowest coach salary in the league to one of the highest must have been to hard of a pill for Sarver to swallow.

yay.

I've been solid in my opinion that Fizdale was always the guy because of his Jones relationship. This further solidifies this for me, now maybe Bud wanted PBOps and 10m per or something insane, we dont know, but I think its always been Fizdale or bust.
Jones and Vogel gotta go.

I just don't understand Sarvers love for inexperienced people. He hires James Jones and then seems to take his word as gospel. Watch them fire McD next. Not that I care much either way on McD but you know Sarver is going to hand the job over to Jones.

Our guys will be back to doing yoga on the beach led by Fizdale and Jones. On the plus side Chriss will have a better attitude. He will still suck but at least he will smile every once in awhile.
