Suns Coach 2018-19

Discussion of the league and of our favorite team.

So who do you want to see as a coach in 2018-19 (and beyond)?

Grass isn't always greener: Triano--What more could you ask with the group of guys we had this year and the development we have seen?

Yeah, until I hear it from a reputable source, I'm going to hold out hope that Sarver has been learning how to be more hands off and let people do their jobs which we've also read from local beat reporters.
Woj or Stein reported that James Jones had to tell Sarver to end his 1 hour meeting sessions with coaches discussing gameplans.

Your hope is being misplaced.
Isn't the exact opposite true though if someone (James Jones) is taking steps to fix the situation?
UT seems to be one of those dudes who is convinced the sun will never come back out.
It has been such a long night I can barely remember what the Sun looks like.

Sarver has been desperate to get out of Jerry's shadow since the day he bought the franchise. It's been evident going back to when couldn't wait to push out Bryan. I'm sure he loves taking credit for the '04-'10 run of success, of which he was mostly a detriment to the roster and staff.

I'm one of those people that's convinced the sun will never come out wherever Robert Sarver is. It's funny to me when people hate on the Morriss twins, Beasleyy, etc but Robert Sarver has done way more damage to the Suns franchise than any player or coach ever has.

^ If you ever wanted evidence that Saver never changes, that flip phone in 2018 is Exhibit A.

When the Knicks and their roster have a better list of candidates under Dolan than we do, that should be all you need to know about our reputation. Can’t even get a decent candidate to keep their name in the hat for our job.

The Knicks will always have a better list of candidates. NY is the basketball mecca of the world.

More importantly, James Dolan isn’t a cheap bastard unlike Sarver.

Breaking News:

Igor Stefan Kokoškov will be our head coach.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Per Woj. Great news. Good hire. Good coach, has promise, knows the Suns culture and believes he can deal with it.
