Devin had 8 assists and 1 TO playing SG, 0 assist 3 TO playing PG.
Are you keeping track of that yourself, or are those stats available somewhere?
I kinda made it up. I remember he had 17 pts and 8 assists really early - like before he picked up his scoring.

I noticed Bender getting waived off and basically iced out on offense for most of the game. It seems like the alphas on the team have pretty much given up on him.

Guys on the radio were saying they didn't want the Bucks pick because that would be too many young guys on the team. Idiots.

That first half was amazing. That Jackson spin against George was a thing of beauty. In fact, we had two ultra highlights in this game. That and Booker's step back, also on George, that sent him reeling while Booker calmly sunk the 3.

I can't wait until this team gets some quality players around Booker and Jackson. If they do it right, this team should start being really fun to watch on a nightly basis starting next year.

Crazy talk. The value in that pick if it comes to us in 2018 is very high. And added to MIA's pick it becomes huge. I don't think said pick is ever going to be more valuable as an asset.

'Too many young guys' doesn't even deserve any comments.

You want the pick in a draft where it will have the most value and because of the perceived depth this year, that would likely be this draft. If they can combine the two picks to move up, even better.

Absolutely. And even if you want to win now, you can package those picks with expirings and get someone relevant.

Rough game for Bender: 37 minutes (!), 0-1 FG, 0 points.

Booker was his usual awesome self (39 points on 16-28 shooting), and Jackson continues his solid run, but not much else to like here. Getting the loss is good, I guess.

How did Payton look? Great line with 18pts, 8 assists, 10 boards, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Only 1 TO and shot 6-16.

Payton doesn't wow all the time, but is just solid all-around

He kinda reminds me of Andre Miller. He's doesn't even seem to be making a move, but there he is at the basket.

I thought his timing was good, letting Booker take over when he was hot then attacking when the defense tightened in on Booker. He got killed on the other end of the court every time he switched.

I think I can see how to improve this team in the easiest manner and we do not even have to get the number 1 pick in the upcoming draft.

We need to get Amare and Josh Jackson to take Chriss and Bender in a gym alone everyday this off season and show both Chriss and Bender how it is to be aggressive in taking it to the hoop. You can include Len in that class if for any reason we are thinking about keeping him.

Brought back great memories seeing Amare and the Matrix last night. Neither of those guys were afraid of anyone. It appears that we might have a couple nasty guys in Booker and Jackson that are not afraid of anyone as well. We really need to add to that group this off season. At this point I do not really care who we draft but I am tired of seeing our fake tough guy Chriss as well as our softie Bender on the court. Warren can toughen up as well. It a pleasure watching Booker and Jackson grow into the leaders of this team. We need some more of these guys to follow their example. I am holding out hope that Payton could be a 3rd part of the wheel.

I am really tired of being happy that we lost.
I wanted Monty as our coach since D'Antoni left town. Nice choice James Jones.

Marvin Bagley, Colin Sexton both kinda fit this mold. Both are pretty relentless and aggressive attacking the hoop. They have their shortcomings, but a Booker/Jackson/Bagley core would put a lot of pressure on the defense and draw a lot of fouls.

I'm not a huge sexton fan as he's not a great floor general, but he could be interesting if he falls to the Miami/Mil picks as he's very agressive, a gifted scorer, and I think he'll defend.
