Can you believe that the Cavs are currently the 4 seed in the East? The *PACERS* have passed them. Wow. That just blows my mind.

I have to take a brief moment to say that, for once, I totally called something right with my Cleveland prediction here. Don't read the rest of the post where I proceed to get about 15 other things wrong, though.

East

1 Boston Celtics
2 Washington Wizards
3 Toronto Raptors
4 Milwaukee Bucks
5 Cleveland Cavaliers
6 Miami Heat
7 Charlotte Hornets
8 Detroit Pistons

I think Cleveland also takes a big step back this year. I dislike almost all of the moves they made this offseason. They look old, hurt, brittle, and way too reliant on Lebron. Don't like the Rose signing at all. Don't like the Kyrie for injured-Thomas trade (he'll be out for months). Signing Wade is okay but he shouldn't be starting. Don't like the overall culture, don't like the defense, don't like the shooting, or even the attitudes of the players they brought in. Not expecting a lot from them.

Just looked at my predictions, I did not do very well, haha. I was way too high on OKC, Denver, and Milwaukee. Way too low on Portland and Indiana.

Cavs had a little 4 game win streak after the trade deadline, but they've gone 4-6 since. Thompson and Love are injured again. They are 1 win better than SA/Den/Utah.

We have fully excepted that Elfrid Payton sucks, right?? I honestly don't even want to waste a roster spot on him next season.

This is another frustrating game. Turnovers, missed shots, bad calls, bad defense, lack of talent and bballiq. Our team is just pathetic.

His lack of shooting and poor defense isn't ideal. He's a competent PG, but I'm leaning towards letting him go. I'd rather take a chance on one of the restricted PF (Randle, Jabari, Gordon)

I guess no one watched tonight. Didn't miss much. We're the first to 50 losses

I'm hoping for the #1 pick and Ayton, then move back up to pick Young. Trade for Love or sign Randle. Fill out the rest of the roster with good bball players. Let Chandler and Dudley retire. Stretch Knight if they feel they need to.

If Chriss and Bender are playing major minutes next year we'll lose 50 more.

Booker, Warren, Jackson, Either Reed or Daniels (not both) should be the only holdovers. Get rid of the rest of this garbage heap. Williams gets a pass.

Disagree on letting Bender go. I think he'd look/play much better next to better teammates

Bender is a nutless player. I’m done with him and Chriss 100%

I'm not sure what I would watch for. I feel like I know what we have with theses guys, and I don't think we will see anyone pick up new skills over the home stretch. Booker is going to face multiple defenders on every touch. Warren will hit crazy shots around the basket, and not do much else. Jackson is going to generally play with energy, get a few very nice baskets in the lane, and miss a few jumpers. Bender is going to keep working on his passing skills and his 3pt shooting. Harrison will chip in with tough defense. I don't care about anyone else on the roster at all.

Warren needs to add another dimension to his game this summer or else. He's below average at everything other than 2 point scoring. That is well above average and maybe even elite. But if he doesn't add anything else there is not enough to justify him as being a piece to build around.
