Game Day: Warriors (52-17) @ Suns (19-51), Sat 3/17/18

Josh is a very good passer. I am still holding out on the chance that he ends up as the second best player in this draft.

That was a tankarific play going to Chriss in the post.

Also tankarific - putting Ulis in.

Random question for a gameday thread - do we think Jackson is going to play in Summer League this year?
Re: Game Day: Warriors (52-17) @ Suns (19-51), Sat 3/17/18
Chriss bricks a 3 short and the rebound bonks Bender in the head as he reacts slowly. Gentlemen, I give you our 2016 draft class.

I think coach needs to have dunk practice for these guys. They keep trying to dunk from way outside their range.

30 for Joshua.

The Joshua Tree.
...can that be his new nickname?
Cuz I might be going out on a limb here, but I feel like his game is branching out. Things are taking root for him and he's leaving those poor saps behind.

It’s not just our 2016 draft class, the whole league's 2016 draft class sucks.n4th4n wrote:Chriss bricks a 3 short and the rebound bonks Bender in the head as he reacts slowly. Gentlemen, I give you our 2016 draft class.

Josh just had a highlight reel block where he hovered in the air like a fucking jedi or something

The "Suns" home "crowd" chanting "Warrrrrrrriorrrrrrs" the way they do at GSW home games. Great. Stay classy, Phoenix fans!
I would love to see a listing of worst fan bases in the league. The Phoenix home crowds would have to be bottom-5, right? Maybe not as bad as Atlanta or New Orleans or a few others, but really bad.

OK
How many games do you think we would win if the other team was allowed to dress and play only 3 players.
Do you think we win 41 games?
Do we make the playoffs?

I wanted Monty as our coach since D'Antoni left town. Nice choice James Jones.

But there's a lot of cities throughout the league where the bandwagon fans show up to cheer for the Celtics, Lakers, Bulls and Warriors when they're winners.

They just let a threadbare Warriors team without three All-Stars shoot 52% and score 121 points against them.

This Jackson kid is a pretty decent fella.

Losing by 15 to such an undermanned team is pretty embarrassing. I would say that this is one of our worst losses of the season, but there are so many bad ones that it's hard to choose. This is one of the worst seasons in franchise history, for sure. I do think that there are reasons for hope and that with 1-2 kep changes to the roster we could be really interesting next year. But oof, this has been a rough period to be a Suns fan.

At least 36 points for Josh Jackson (on 14-23 shooting) is a bright spot here. Payton had 11 and 7 assists. Harrison had 8 points and 2 assists in 20 solid minutes.
I always look at Bender's stats after every game. He had another game where he didn't really make much of an impact. 6 points on 2-6 shooting, 6 boards, 2 assists, 4 TOs, all in 35 (!!) minutes. Wish he could have given us a lot more in such a long time out on the floor.

I said last year that Markennen was what we hoped Bender would become. Idk if Bender will ever make an impact on the game consistently.
