I always look at Bender's stats after every game. He had another game where he didn't really make much of an impact. 6 points on 2-6 shooting, 6 boards, 2 assists, 4 TOs, all in 35 (!!) minutes. Wish he could have given us a lot more in such a long time out on the floor.

At this point I only care about how Josh does. I know Book is great and I don’t have any hope left for anyone else

Bender has time..... but the signs aren't great. Great to see Josh shine... I'm high on him.. Life we can get a very good player this draft we might be set.. Most the test if the roster is backup at best... Please can we get a good coach!

Best night to break some streaks against the W, but maybe after the Memphis win, the team brass decided to go deep in the tank, I think we were within reach, and suddenly coach put in the tank brigade, slow and discrete. The moment they sub Ulis in, I knew we were not going to play for the W. So I’m ok with losing against the depleted Warriors.

WHO ASKED FOR PING PONG BALLS???

They’re not for free, it cost a piece of your soul every night.

We had a great first half. Then at halftime Leander talked about the Memphis win and the significance for us, and we came out and laid an egg in the second half. It’s almost like they were watching the broadcast.

Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:The "Suns" home "crowd" chanting "Warrrrrrrriorrrrrrs" the way they do at GSW home games. Great. Stay classy, Phoenix fans!

I would love to see a listing of worst fan bases in the league. The Phoenix home crowds would have to be bottom-5, right? Maybe not as bad as Atlanta or New Orleans or a few others, but really bad.
I remember when Suns fan filled the Veterans Memorial, which was not exactly a premium facility.
Fans came because they supported a team that gave consistent effort and that was fun to watch.

Nowadays, the fan base has been eroded by a poor product, the results of bad management and bad coaching.
Fan are tired of having smoke blown up their ass by Sarver and McD (and Babby, among others).
Knowledgeable fans are staying away in droves.

The failed works in progress of Bender and Chriss, two high choices in the SAME DRAFT is just one example of franchise ineptitude.
I have zero confidence in current management in making the right choices in the coming draft and free agency period.
They'll find a way to screw up in reverse.
They'll find another under-qualified or some washed-up coach who is willing to be underpaid and overmanaged.

There is no light at the end of the tunnel, as the tunnel is an abyss.

You OK, Laz? I know you're getting up there in years, but I sure hope you aren't staring into the abyss.

Thank you for your concern.
Sorry to be so morose.

But even the thin teams of the waning McLeod years played defense and hustled, even though they were undermanned as far as talent.
Guys like Mike Pittman, Bone Scott and Mike Sanders gave it a go every night.
On the current team, some of these players looked like they just rolled in from an opium den.

No D, bad shot selection, no passing ...

He has good passing ability, but most of the time that ability is soured by his sloppiness and poor decision making.

Yeah, the Suns suck. Even when they are up on another team, I can't pretend it's more than just flashes of potential from the Suns and a whole bunch of laziness from the other guys.
