I’m not impressed. They’re going to go nowhere in the playoffs, I will bet anything. They will lose to the Warriors, Thunder, or Rockets. In years past I’d include the Spurs but they’re just too banged up this year.

They certainly would have been in better shape if Exum didn't get hurt and they didn't lose Hayward in FA.

I don’t think Exum is a factor at all in where they finish.

Hayward and Mitchell together would have been special though.

After seeing Exum this summer, I believe that he was on the verge of finally having a breakout year.

So Fultz is back and he looked pretty good. 10 points 8 assists, 4 boards in 14 minutes tonight. Philly is going to be scary

I watched it. He didn't look all that good to me. Airballed his first jumper and was only 4-13 from the field. He did have a few decent passes including a nice around the back pass to Embiid.

5/13. I only saw clips, but compared to what he looked like at the beginning of the season, he looks good.

Yea he was inefficient but he was playing a 100mph and pressing which isn't a surprise for someone who was sitting out so long
I think the biggest take away isn't the stat line but just the fact he wasn't tentative. For a moment there I was wondering if he would be a mess mentally when returning more than anything else with how long this shooting issue dragged on.

Oh and the Nuggets can't seem to win without Gary Harris or the Jokic/Millsap pair hasn't clicked
One or Both of these things are correct because they haven't been playing consistent recently

Really going out on a limb there saying the Jazz would lose to teams loaded with all-stars.

So you love Gobert enough to build a team around him but then make excuses for him against actually talented teams?

Rockets are not loaded with all-stars. Neither are the Thunder. Melo is not playing at an all-star level any more.

Rockets have Harden and CP3. Thunder have Westbrook and PG. Jazz have Mitchell and Gobert.

Yes, I'll give you the Warriors are loaded with all stars. But the Jazz wouldn't stand a chance even with Curry being out.

Thunder had 2, Rockets had 2, Dubs had 4, the majority of the west all-star team came from those 3 teams. Let's not act like Gobert would be the reason the LESSER talented team would lose to the MORE talented team. Now you're just being silly man. Gimme a break. There isnt a C in the NBA that you swap Gobert for that makes up the talent discrepancies between the Jazz and the 3 you listed, maybe the Thunder could be overtaken because that team is poorly coached. So I am not making excuses for Gobert, facts are facts.

I get it, you don't value defense, I believe I am done talking in circles with you, we're not gonna change one each others mind. Cheers.

I think the jazz would beat the thunder in the playoffs and while I still think the warriors will win, I think the jazz are the last team golden State wants to play in the first round.

I really don't see how the Jazz being eighth seed and not being able to beat Houston or Golden State is evidence that Gobert isn't valuable. The Jazz do not have a good roster. If anything, being a playoff team in the tougher of the two conferences is a testament to Gobert's value. The dude is a stud.

I agree, they are so much better when he plays.
