Who owns the tiebreaker between Memphis and us? Do we coin flip?
I think they just split the ping pong balls but I'm not positive on that.

In the event of a tie, we split the ping pong balls. (And yes, a coin flip determines who get the odd ping pong ball, which isn’t very significant.)

Thanks. Really should lose out to max our odds. I don't think we'll lose out though.

Yeah if just to make sure you don't fall below 4th.

Honestly for me if we're not top 3 I don't see much difference between 4-8

I just realized what is being discussed regarding Josh

Let me clarify my statement. I said "I'm not worried about Josh shot" , the word missing was Improving.
I don't think Josh current shooting is good enough, come on now smh. what I'm saying is with all the doom n gloom and buyer's remorse echoed around here the first couple months I also found myself starting to believe the chatter that maybe he never will be able to knock down shots

The kid said after getting drafted that he's a point to prove guy and nobody gonna work harder than him. So all I'm saying is from what I've seen in the last couple months I'm gonna back the kid to put in the necessary work in the off-season and build on what he's done recently

To be honest, I don't get these guys. I'm not worried about his shot at all. He has shot it well in 2018. Sure, he does need to improve his FT% to take advantage of his ability to get to the line but I'm not worried about his shot in the slightest.

These are his shooting numbers by distance this season, I dont know how you can think these are good.

3-10ft .407
10-16ft .320
16-3pt .380
3pt .261
FT 62%

He definitely needs to improve across the board.
Do you know how to find what they are in the second half of the year? Curious to see if they've improved
They have.

Yes, he had been a very pleasant surprise. I'd keep him at backup point. Did you guys see him block WCS's shot?!

His FT% has improved since college going from around 57% to 63% this year. Not a huge improvement but it's something. I don't think he'll ever be a great shooter because of his form. He can be a rhythm shooter, which we've seen when he makes moves off the dribble and he's got nice flip shots around the basket but Klay Thompson he's not. If he can get his FT% to the 70s he'll be fine. In most instances, you can always tell how good a shooter someone is by their FT%. He's got the work ethic to improve, but his form will still hold him back to a certain degree. There are exceptions, like Shawn Marion and Kevin Martin. Shawn Marion was a career 80% FT shooter and would throw up at least an airball a game from 3. Kevin Martin shot close to 90% from the line, was a dangerous 3pt shooter but had some of the craziest form I've ever seen. So you never know.

Ulis is an ok pg when our guys are moving, but I dread our end of quarter plays with him running down the clock. He still thinks he's mini Chris Paul.

Josh Jackson is sloppy, but god damn he can play.
Daniels shouldn't be playing. Hurt his ankle couple games ago and I think went 1/6 in limited time on Sunday and yes tonight still clearly on a bad wheel.
House in to start the second half.

Most of his makes are at the rim, and most of his misses are jumpers.

That running down the clock thing and looking to break down the D when shot clock gets to 8secs or something isn't an option for this unit
They are so bad at that.
