NBA gave him a fine and a technical. No suspension.
He was checking into the game, so technically he didn't come off the bench. It was a dead ball, they can easily say he was just coming onto the court to check in.
But he wasn't checked into the game yet.
Ya but it's easy for him to say I thought they waived me in. The rule is stupid and he has an excuse for why he was on the court. No chance NBA would suspend him. There wasn't even really an altercation on the court, Westbrook created the altercation.
That excuse should not convince anybody. I totally agree that the rule is stupid but the Suns did get screwed by it, and earlier this year McCollum was suspended as well and for much less. It's just blatant special treatment, and there are few things I hate more.

Sad how the Thunder just quit trying. Pathetic really.

Never mind. They turn a switch on in the third quarter. I guess they do have some pride after all.

You do know they were down 25 in the third quarter, right?

MDA Schools Kerr's suggested and every Suns fan favorite defensive coordinator, Tom Thibodeau. Thib's finally realizes the team with the most points usually wins.

oh yeah Mike only played 9 guys -(12) if you count surrender time - when is he ever going to learn?
I wanted Monty as our coach since D'Antoni left town. Nice choice James Jones.

I'd be really happy if D'Antoni managed to win a ring, even with Houston, which really shows how much I appreciate what he did in Phoenix. However, until he's able to do it, I'll always think that he'll come up short for the same reasons he has before.

This looked obvious in real time too.

How long does LeBron get to get away with stuff like this? How in the world was this not reviewed in such a close game....

Watching it closely, it doesn't look like Oladipo hits it off the backboard first. Would have been clean to me.

Huh? Watch it a little more closely then. Maybe it wasn't obvious in real-time but it is in slow mo.

I still like the Jazz to beat OKC, but the Thunder did give us a remarkable comeback last night. Utah got tight and had trouble making shots, and Russ and PG played out of their minds. Pretty impressive. Jazz in 6.

Pacers basically blew the series there. I don't think they have any chance to beat the Cavs now. They woke up the sleeping giant.

Tonight is BOS/MIL Game 6. Would love to see the Bucks win this and send it to a Game 7. Worried that they'll fold and don't totally trust them, but if they can't rally in front of their home crowd, they don't deserve it. That has been a fun series; two teams that are not real contenders but are fighting hard and giving each other everything they've got. Also really impressive to see the younglings on Boston playing so well, like Tatum and Brown.

Watching Mitchell in the playoffs makes me really long for the day Booker plays his first playoff series with the Suns.

It’s not reviewable, because it doesn’t entail a stop in play.

I read this somewhere (maybe even here), but imagine how good Booker would be regarded league-wide if you switched the Utah and Phoenix rosters but kept Mitchell and Booker where they are.

Exactly. And when I was watching it live, i didn't think it came off the glass before he pinned it. The slo-mo shows it clearly, but real time I just didn't see or hear it.

I had to watch it twice to see that it did hit the glass first. Sucks for Dipo.
