I know nothing about Alexey Shved, but this was Suns related--I wonder if Igor wanted to bring him in.

https://clutchpoints.com/nba-news-pelic ... xey-shved/
For a short time, Shved looked like he might blossom into a solid rotation player or even a young star. But then he fell off the map. What happened with him? Was it a lack of shooting or athleticism? The article says he led the entire Euroleague in scoring. Seems like he'd make it on an NBA roster.
I think its curious that he has reportedly turned down offers, with one being 4 million. Is that because he can make more in Europe? Is he waiting for more money? I imagine playing with a coach like Igor would be appealing to a european player.

For some guys the NBA isn't the end-all, be-all. For a euro player, he might just be more comfortable signing and staying with a team for 2-3 years than deal with some of the BS of the NBA.

I saw that yesterday and found it interesting because we really do need another 6-6 SG.

I remember him being as skinny as fuck.
He was probably a massive defensive liability. From memory he had the occasional good game when he got hot from 3

Browsing Instagram. Reed has a nice training workout vid of him working on off the dribble moves.

Suns had a video with of Chriss doing charity work. His body looks in shape but his face looks Pudgey.
No vids from T.J. of him working on his 3. Boo!

What?... it’s August what the hell else am I meant to do?!

Any video of TJ Warren practicing 3-pointers this summer gets me irrationally excited!

Excited in a different way. Warren videos get me basketball excited. Rubio videos get me "call the doctor if it doesn't go down after 4 hours" excited!!

Quick, easy release. Form looks like his shooting form from anywhere else on the floor, which is an improvement. If I remember right, TJ was slowing down and changing his form slightly (more of a set shot) from three last year. It did not look like his normal shot.

I cannot understand why people are so critical of TJ's assist and passing numbers. That is not what his game is. His game is receiving and scoring. If he is passing, he is not being effective. That's like worrying about Steve Nash's blocked shot numbers not being very high. Why?

It always drove me nuts that Nash couldn't block more shots. Clearly that was a HUGE hole in his game and will keep him out of the HOF. ;)

Because the ball just sticks as soon as he gets a touch. He’s the type of player to put up points on a shitty team, he gets his stats at the detriment of everyone around him and there’s zero rhythm to the offense

Good analysis. I'll add that his lower body and legs are more involved, and his feet are more balanced. He has had a tendency to shoot with his arms too much. He can do that closer the basket, but it hurt him on longer shots.

Fingers crossed for the regular season.

I don't have the numbers in front of me, but his asst% as it compares to his USG rate is atrocious. Yes, he's a scorer, but with how often he touches the ball, he should average more that 1.3 apg by accident. It can't always be in the team's best interest for him to shoot.
