I’m surprised that there has been zero news regarding Alex Len. Thought for sure some team would’ve taken a chance on him by mid July but that doesn’t look to be the case.
Because he sucks, despite the 5 years of “what-if” conversations by the Kool Aid cooler here

Yeah but I mean Noel sucks too but he still got a contract offer from OKC right away in free agency. Surprised Len hasn't latched on anywhere even in a vet min role.

I’m sure his asking price is too much. There’s no way teams wouldn’t want him for the minimum. He is on record last year as thinking he deserved the same type of offer Noel coincidentally turned down
“I get that there are folks who believe that some of the contracts executed post the smoothing rejection were too large,” she wrote. “I vehemently disagree as I am sure do the players that negotiated those contracts. However, if that’s the beef folks have, take it up with the GMs that negotiated them. The argument that we gave teams too much money to play with is preposterous.”
Ayton just commented he's looking forward to learning from Chandler
I mentioned in another thread that watching Chandler play significant mins was painful but I still think he can help Ayton with post positioning, rim running and anchoring the D. He made a living off that stuff after all, just his legs are gone now and as for a backup center it's obvious that it will be Cooley when October comes
Tyson can definitely mentor and help Ayton learn the nuances of being a center in the league. He's a former DPOY, got a ring....he prob couldn't help Len because there was no helping Len. But Ayton has the ability and seemingly the desire to get better. Even just talking and being the traffic guard on D would be huge.

I don’t have a problem giving Knight one more year to prove he can be a starting point guard in this league. If not, we waive/stretch him and free up more cap space.
