Chandler and Knight for Noah and either Frankie N or the #9. Would you do it?

What if it's Chandler and Dudley?
Thats an easy yes if its the 9th pick. 9/16 and asset can get you in position to get pretty much anyone you'd like to pair with Ayton. Ayton and JJJ for example..

I think Frank would be a great fit next to Booker in the backcourt.

I would totally do that, but I don't think NY would.

I think they would consider Chandler/Dudley for Noah/Frank. That's $17M off their books after next season.

I would be so pissed at this if it were true. I was practically yelling for the Suns to take Bell last year, instead of Reed.
I think everyone who followed the prospects closely around here was saying the same thing.
Bell just seems like a fun character all around

I mean, anyone who is against drinking Hennessy out of the bottle while shirtless cannot be a friend of mine.

He's been rich for all of about 10 months in his life. And after taxes his $815K salary in the Bay Area is probably considered middle class.

Any of us would do it probably for either asset.

I think there could be another deal in which we take on Noah without sending anything back and they have cap space this summer. If they think they have a shot at Boogie or one of the other premier FAs, they would give up a lot to dump salary. Maybe in that deal we get Frank + #9.

I wouldn't make that deal.

And it may not be crap to them? Just a thought.

Who do you like better in free agency next year than Frank or the pick? Or do you have another trade in mind?

You can thank the players union opposing to a gradual increase of the cap. No doubt this peak LeBron beats the Warriors without Durant.
Exactly. But honestly, if you are the players union why would you agree to let the owners keep more of their profits instead of sharing it with workers?
Because not allowing a gradual rise is shortsighted for the players. The class of 2016 got inmensely overpaid and many teams now lack flexibility to make big spenditures, which means players overall get less, particularly middle and lower class FAs.

No doubt? Like there's no doubt at all? Even with just Curry, Klay, Draymond and whoever else they would have signed instead of Durant they are better than a Cavs team with Love as 2nd best player.
No doubt to me, of course. Durant got 2 FMVP and made all the shots that mattered. In my opinion that's the difference between a sweep and the Warriors losing in 6 or 7. We ara talking about the best pure scorer of this generation.

I have no interest in Noah at this point. Frank is a defensive combo guard who's not exactly a natural offensive player...improving but not the traditional PG we need at the moment. I don't think the 9th pick will do much for us unless we're flipping it. Knight sucks but at least Chandler is expiring and if we take a center at 1 (or at some point in the draft) at least Chandler will know his role.

Something is up with MPJ:

https://twitter.com/teamziller/status/1007234151353810944

Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer reported late Wednesday that Michael Porter, Jr.’s crew canceled his Friday group workout in Chicago. Several teams in the top 10 — including the Sacramento Kings, who picked No. 2 — were scheduled to attend. Porter, of course, missed just about the entire season for Missouri after a back injury. Teams thinking about spending a top-10 pick on him have lots of questions. O’Connor also quickly moved Porter up to No. 4 on his mock draft after breaking the news. The Memphis Grizzlies have the No. 4 pick.

Sounds like his hip and back are bothering him. I wonder if a team will still take a chance on him given his bad health? Seems like a real stay-away to me. I get that players get injured and that he'll bounce back. But he has back problems; that makes me nervous. That kind of injury may not just go away.
