Chandler already doesn't play for half the games as it is. As in 0 minutes. Remember that Len will be leaving. There will be minutes for Williams.

I can't see Chandler moving, so I see no role for him.
I don't think Chandler will be playing steady minutes. We have to think of Chandler the way we think of Dudley, as a bench veteran guy who mostly just mentors younger players and plays occasional spot minutes. Chandler should not be thought of as our backup C. By that logic we have only one rotation center (Ayton) and need an actual backup for him to be our bench center. Williams is that guy.
No way they pay Chandler 14m or whatever not to play.
We did it for 36 games last year, and 35 the year before.
I don't expect us to shut down all the vets to tank again.
Jones and Vogel gotta go.

It depends on Chandler. I'm fine with him as our primary backup if he's got a good attitude about it. If he wants to start and/or play for a contender, accommodate him. I don't think Williams is a primary backup necessarily but I do like what he brings on and off the court.

If Dudley would lose 20 lbs this offseason, he could actually fill the vet stretch 4 role. He's a good shooter, smart player. Just wasn't close to basketball shape last year.
Yeah that bargain we signed a couple of years ago for $30 Mil was recommended as a great deal by almost everyone on this site, not me. Now we have to go out and spend more money and possibly give up draft choices for a job that he could do.

What a freaking great deal that was. Wait, he certainly improved our tank and we got Ayton. Maybe he was worth it after all.

I am with Split T on this one. Get your ass in shape and contribute something, will you.
I wanted Monty as our coach since D'Antoni left town. Nice choice James Jones.

Probably not to play zero games. But I can totally see resting entire games. He has played 47 and 46 games the last two seasons. And his game was terrible a lot of the times. Tyson Chandler is not a factor anymore (and hasn't been for a healthy two seasons).

Amazing to think we pretty much signed him for the sheer purpose of trying to lure LaMarcus Aldridge over here. And even had we signed LMA, it just wouldn't have made much of a difference.

Our first SL game is against Dallas but unfortunately, Doncic won't be playing in the SL.

Summer League always scares me...especially now that we have the number one pick. To me success = not getting injured.

Welcome, Jeremy! Yes, if we can get out of SL without injury, especially Ayton, that would be considered a success.

I don't see that as much of a loss. Ristic had 0.00000000% chance of making the Suns roster, not even the NAZ Suns. He should probably go somewhere he has a real chance to stick.

The one brother we should have probably drafted, Giannis's brother, is the one we don't pick.

Perhaps we're not targeting the better Antetokounmpo but the better King?
