NBA DRAFT NIGHT 2018

Post by Wally_West »

Tonight is the night. Suns picking 1 for the first time in franchise history! The Suns seemed to be locked in on a particular prospect for 1 and know many people on this board have strong opinions about him.
Whatever happens, hopefully we all can look back and be happy with the pick.
Suns also pick 16, 31, 59.

It should be a fun night.

LETS DO THIS!

GO SUNS

This guy is crazy. And honestly, I am not sure how great a lineup that is. We would have 1.5 shooters in those 4.

Who are you not considering a shooter. Everyone but Jackson can shoot.

It's not gonna happen, but isn't 1.5 > 1?

Ayton is not a shooter. He may turn into one, but shooting like 1 three a game, even at an OK clip doesn't make him a shooter. And Luka is good, but not locked in. I think he can get better, though.

Honestly, if we were to find a way to get both Luka and Ayton, I think we need a really good 3-D PG, and find a 4 that can do the things Ayton can't (yet).

That is a really good point. I agree with your math.

Not only that but you can't have half a player and round up rules would then make it 2.

Not a 3pt shooter yet, but he shot 50%+ on mid-range jumpers.

I have zero concerns about that lineups shooting abilities. None. And Bender would actually be a good 4 with that group.

Yep, one of the best mid-range shooting big men in the draft.

That is where I am at too. I think Ayton will be very good, though.

Watching it live with you guys.
Can’t miss a once every 50 year event;)

Fingers crossed we get who we want and they are what we need.
(Preferably a swing for the fences and get two very high picks).

Enjoy guys.
What we do in life, echoes in eternity.
