Can’t remember the last time I was this excited for a summer league game..

Post by sose »

It really feels like we’re turnjng a corner. I’m always a fan, web site or not, and it feels like the first time in a long time it’s going to be a fun season.

Go suns. C’mon Friday night.

Same, this summer league feels extremely important compared to past summers.

Only a good game of Doncic (if he plays) against us and a poor game from Ayton can spoil it for me. Other than that I really can't wait for our young core to take Vegas by storm. Go Suns !!

I think the offseason does give us some reason for optimism.

For once the news isn't about team bowling nights, yoga or group hugs, it's more about acquiring talent and developing players.

Yup. It’s a superficial impression, but Koko sounds like a real coach, and Watson didn’t.

If basketball is involved, then its fine. Ayton said it was difficult, so thats a plus.

I love that there is a vibe back with the team.
Also that coach and his whole team will be taking charge from day one with the young guys to get the philosophy through.
Wanting Ayton to be a massive beast regardless of opposition.

Not even close to the same thing. Hoping you're saying it jokingly otherwise you're making a ridiculous observation.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I have no idea how anyone can complain about anything that is coming out of our new coach's mouth. What a breath of fresh air, finally.

I expect that there probably will either be some come to Jesus conversations for those that do not do the work or they will be shown the door/bench. I just hope he treats Ayton and Booker the same way.

Excited about tomorrow night like everyone else. If Ayton scores 30, there will be no need for Viagra in the Valley of the Sun.
I wanted Monty as our coach since D'Antoni left town. Nice choice James Jones.

Haha! I just want to see him look in control and working hard. If he misses shots, so be it.

I’ll be there in person this weekend. I’ll try and sit near the bench and give a first hand account at some point.

Anyone else going?

What an interesting conversation that would be:

Wife: "Whoa! Did you already take your Viagra without giving me a heads up first??"
Me: "No Viagra needed tonight, Babe. Im thinking about a man named Deandre Ayton."
Wife: "Thats it--no more phxsuns.net this week."
