Game Day (Summer League): Mavs (0-0) @ Suns (0-0), Fri 7/6/18

Post by Superbone »

Time: 6:30 pm AZ (6:30 pm PT / 9:30 pm ET)
Place: Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, NV
TV: ESPN

Hoo boy! The moment we have all been waiting for is almost upon us. The debut of overall #1 pick, Deandre Ayton as well as our other 3 rooks, plus veterans Jackson, Bender, and Shaq. Doncic will be there but isn't likely to play because he needs to have his buyout completed with Real Madrid, he needs a FIBA letter of clearance, he needs a physical, and he needs to sign his contract.

Go Summer Suns!!!

Super excited to see how Ayton, Bridges, and Okobo perform. Trying to calm myself down and remind myself not to get too excited or disappointed by one summer league game. If any given player has a great performance or struggles, it is just one game, and the long-term trend is what really matters. But if any of these guys really goes off, I think I'll be irrationally happy for weeks.

Or at least until our second summer league game.

I'm really excited to see Ayton, Bridges, King and Okobo play, but not only them also Reed, Peters, Harrison, Jackson and Bender. I'm curious how much they've improved too.

Awesome, the game is on TV! I usually have to wait until sometime during the preseason to catch my first glimpse of new Suns. There is at least three games set to record this time in summer league. Like waiting for Christmas as a kid.

It is such a weird situation. He didn't practice with the team like Knight and Booker did he?

I don't know. Bordow said he'd be in Washington working out alone.

Are you guys watching a stream somewhere? The ESPN stream is showing the Cavs / Wizards.
