Ayton is going to be gassed early on. I think Coach limits his minutes here.

Did we get confirmation that he had to be pulled from the game because he was winded? He ended up with about the same number of minutes as everyone else.

If he was getting winded to the point of having to sit that is pretty surprising. Weren't we sold on him being one of the most athletic players?

I mean would anyone have believed me if I said last weak that we would have to limit his minutes in summer league because he would be winded?

In the long term this really doesn't mean anything but if he is having trouble staying on the court that is disappointing.

He said he asked out because he wanted to go over a few plays to get them right.

I don't think there is anything to worry about. That was probably the fastest up and down game in his life. On the broadcast, coach Carlisle was saying how SL basketball is faster than regular season ball. Ayton will get acclimated.

I did find some tweets where people said the same thing during his college season.

Last year Chriss thought the competition in summer league was beneath him and he got owned. So this year the front office agrees and lets him sit it out despite him not proving anything yet?

So I'm starting to realize why no one threw the ball in to Ayton on the post last game. They aren't capable of actually making a pass into the post without a turnover.

Ah just as I type this they manage to get it in to him. Easy dunk.

Really frustrating, 3 straight possessions where the guards turned it over trying to get it into him.

Can we just let Bender throw the passes in to Ayton. The guards are horrible at it.

Three straight bad passes into the post when they try to get it in to Ayton.
