He’s done it before. Calipari actually called Booker being drafted by the Suns right before the Suns picked him too.

Just seeing it written out...man, $158 million is A LOT of money lol.
Wonder if this is the biggest contract (not per yr but overall) that the Suns have ever given out in franchise history.
Good question. It probably is.

Yes, and it is also the 7th largest contract in NBA history!
I believe Booker is also now the highest paid player in Suns history as far as entire career contracts combined. And the kid is only 21.

I still hope that Book ends up being worth that contract; either way, I recognize that we had to pay him to keep him.

The whole draft thread here called Booker being drafted by the Suns several picks ahead. Cal could have “broken” that news by reading this site.

Hey, coach Cal. We know you read the site. Thanks for playing Booker off the bench so we'd be able to select him 13th in the draft.

So glad we've got him locked up for the next 6 years. I feel much better about his deal than I would if we had a guy like Wiggins. Booker is beyond his years in maturity and has that "it" factor. Now he just has to light a fire under Ayton's butt which I think he'll do.

Wow crazy. I wonder how Amare feels reading about this in the news. He got the extension that Amare wanted in 2010 lol.
Difference obviously is Booker’s knees are in better shape.
