If he's in proper position and changing shots and being a presence, I'm not concerned with the number of blocks.
Had 3 blocks today that got called fouls... They all looked like questionable foul calls
Yep, especially that chase-down block. It seems like refs are not even aware of the “hand is part of the ball” rule anymore.

Thanks for the game updates. I am down under in Sydney where it’s kind of cold. Hard to believe it’s the dead of winter here.

Both his best games came with him wearing Nike's. I wish he would do what Lonzo did last season and wear Nike's during the game but promote another brand during whatever else.

Harrison's biggest weakness is obviously his offense. If he can prove he can run offense and get others open looks, he'll have a legit shot at minutes. Otherwise he's just a backup, at best.

With regards to JJ, I still like his skillset but I knew his offense would be an issue because he's not a smooth, fundamentally sound offensive player. It's why Tatum came in ready to play. And because JJ is a SF, and my philosophy has always been SFs are a dime a dozen, I was really hoping we'd take Fox to pair with Booker in the backcourt. Look at our roster now and tell me how hard it is to find a swing. Look at this year's draft and count how many swings were available.

Similar to them taking Len over McCollum because of Dragic.
Actually, I think McCollum wasn't an option because Ryan was targeting Bledsoe.
I think years from now McD will regret taking Bridges over SGA as well. Bridges has good 3 & D potential and maybe ceiling of a player like prime Trevor Ariza but SGA looks like he will be a star player. And the Suns had a need at the PG position as well.

It's gonna be another thing for Rachel Nichols to remind us of years from now like she already did earlier last month.

We didn't actually take Bridges over SGA, we traded for Bridges after the fact...I'm not sure SGA was ever an option for us

It's nice to have actual coach in charge.

You and me both. I was yelling at my computer. Don't do that shit in summer league, Dre!

He beat both Reed and Jackson down the court. It was really impressive.
Go Suns!

If he can be LeBron James in a 7-1 body I think we’re set.

Ayton looked pretty good, but man Shaq was super impressive, his defense is outstanding. I can't wait to see Ayton and Booker keep each other single covered, gonna be fun.
Jones and Vogel gotta go.

I hope the Bender we got yesterday is the Bender we get get most nights.

He should realize that he’s so tall, his 3pt shot is unblockable for most NBA players.

My sipping of the "KoKo"-laid up until now has been mainly what I see Igor running on offense.
I didn't watch his Press Conference so this is the first time I've listened to him. Really liked how he broke down the player questions

It's not an excuse, but they took JJ over Isaac because of Chriss and Bender. They still might've taken JJ, but Isaac was out of the question because of who was already on the roster.
I'm not an Isaac fan at all, but in principle, this is why it hurts to have a bad GM, and, more specifically, how much harm bad draft choices can cause. A bad GM doesn't will go all in on his bad choices, and will avoid any move that my look like an admission that s/he made a bad choice.

So a bad GM drafts a really bad PF prospect in one draft. The next year, he'll pass on a great PF prospect because he still wants his guy from previous year to look good.

Another example: a bad GM overpays in a trade for a player who is about to be a free agent. The player looks bad in his time with the team after the trade. But because the GM overpaid for the player, he feels compelled to resign the player at all costs to save face.

The mistakes of a bad GM are so costly.
All true. Well said.

Great game for Ayton. Very promising SL for him overall. I have been as skeptical as anybody (and I may groan if Doncic looks great in his first few games), but I have to give Ayton credit. He's looked like a real phenom big man in the making so far. Exciting potential.

Davon Reed looks fantastic in all 3 games. I really hope they figure out a way to keep him on the roster.

I'm not a big Harrison fan, but I agree with everyone else that he played great defense in this one.

Okobo quietly had an 0-4 shooting night, 3 assists, 2 TO. Bridges also shot 0-for-3.

Don't know what to say about Josh Jackson. I expect better from our supposed second-best player (before Ayton). I remain very skeptical about him. I don't think his offense actually helps us win games. Love his energy and hustle and toughness and defense. But I basically cringe every time he shoots the ball, and I don't think he helps facilitate an offense the way others claim he does. He had 1 assist and 5 TOs tonight, along with 3-for-13 shooting. That's awful offense.
