I kind of hate these games. You have nothing to really take from them. You are expecting them to easily win and are disappointed if someone doesn't put up big stats against inferior competition and non-NBA quality athletes.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Yea, very underwhelming to play these international teams. Would rather have seen the Kings game on TV.

You can't win these games. Even if you put up big stats against them, they will be easily dismissed as "So what?".

Agreed. It's a no-win situation. If you dominate them, it doesn't really count, because they aren't NBA-level competition. If you lose or squeak by, you look pathetic and it breeds doubt in the players. I guess it'll be fun to see the guys get some more run, though.

Yup, the saving grace is that the Suns are coming off a loss to Sacramento and I'm sure that they are hungry to prove themselves and get their offense and defense in some sort of order. Also, the team had a horrible shooting night and I'm sure they want to show that they can actually shoot. I expect them to play well, but it won't matter...

Guys... It's a preseason game. It gets the team more familiar with their sets and more familiar playing with each other. It's a good thing. It's not always about proving yourself to the fans or winning.

People had no problem going crazy on Luka Doncic making a couple nice plays against some team from China

I agree with this, what I meant was that they were proving themselves to themselves, not fans.

That's a good point. It sounds different when you Luka at it that way.

It's a-me. Mario!

I read your sentence like I was playing Super Mario Bros. Well played Marty!

THANK YOU. The whole month up to 17-OCT-2018 is about learning together as a team. I don't care how they get there, as long as they get there.

Which team is better, the Ducks or the Breakers?

But... do I take Ayton in the third or fourth round of a fantasy draft? That's what pre-season is really for!

I don't know anything about the Breakers, but the Ducks suck. Marbury came to Beijing when he was washed out by the Knicks following that 2 hour webcast episode, and became a superstar, averaging 40+ ppg with 10+ assists. He became god in the CBA.

They both suck compared to NBA teams.

The Suns with literally the worst defensive breakdown I have ever seen. Some dude from New Zealand just sitting wide open on the wing for about 45 seconds as no one know who they were guarding.
