Jim Barnett talking out of his ass: "As you know, Bender is a center. Sometimes Bender will be out there at center with Ayton at power forward…"

Ryan Anderson might have the worst haircut in NBA history.
Were you paying attention last year?
And did you see Ulis' new do?

Suns win by 18 in GS. I guess overall it was good. Sounds like you had a good time in N.O.

Yeah, it was really special to see Drew break the record with my son even though my dad couldn't be there.

Ulis do was a little out there. Ulis wanted to make us pay.

The hate that Jackson cut his hair. Makes it harder to pick him out in a game.

“Bender comes in. I thought the Suns wanted to win.” I laughed on that one. I paid close attention to him too and cringed the whole time. I sure hope he gets it together. He’s not a great passer and he hates to shoot. Not a good combo.

Ayton continues to look great. Didn’t check out the box score to see what our assists looked like.

Anderson and Ariza came to life.

It was only preseasn but, it was against GS. Curry and Durant played plenty. I can’t help but to think the firings had an effect on their motivation.

What an awesome experience even if it wasn't perfect.

So was Igor throwing the games, to get McD canned, so he could get his PG? Joking, but for those watching, what seems to be the difference...shots just falling tonight?
It looked to me like the veterans took the game seriously.

How did the PG's look? All that played have decent box scores

Melton looks a productive player and a good defender. But not a PG at this moment in time.

Makes me wonder if McD would still have a job if the team had played like this on Friday. Showed a lot more intensity all around this game.

Is it really too much to think the two events aren’t mutually exclusive?

Has any player ever said anything positive about mcd ever?

Ehhh....how much does a GM really affect the team on the day-to-day? I agree the intensity was at a different level but I was thinking Igor's words did more to light a fire, and Ariza and Anderson hitting shots early gave everyone some confidence. I don't doubt the news shook the team up a bit but I don't think last night was a response to it the way the team flipped the switch after W****n was fired.

I'm with you. My question still stands. I'm wondering if Sarver's firing of McD was triggered by the team's lackluster start to preseason. If they had played with that same intensity from the start, would McD still have his job?

I'd guess he's been thinking about doing it for awhile. The poor play was an excuse to fire him, but it was coming eventually.
