Now that the inevitable day has come, how do you expect the next GM to fair?

I'm also curious about how soon you expect Little Bobby to have a new guy in place.

I went with about the same, but I think initially it could be worse. It's likely whoever we gets will either still have training wheels on as a GM or be a retread with limited success - and will have the whole Sarver meddling thing to navigate.

Server will hire the least expensive, most unproven person around. We've been through this before.

That's not to say the person he hires can't be good at their job, but it's unlikely given Sarver's history.

It will be Jones. There always seems to be hold-overs in this org, and it is like Sarver is bringing them in, seeing if he likes them, then fires the people above them to move them into the role. Didn't we all say that when Jones was hired he was the GM in the wings. Like when Horny was forced to fire his entire staff and bring in Earl Watson as lead assistant?
