Louis King looks like he has all the makings of a tremendous prospect. Great size, skilled, fluid; I wonder how resident-Bol-Bol-hater Flagrant Fowl feels about him.
But will he defend? I admittedly havent seen a ton of him, but the small bits I've seen has me questioning him there.
👀 Fire Frank Vogel.

I think it's too early to tell either way.

I haven't watched him closely since I basically checked out of the Ducks season around Christmas. I'll try to get in a few games between now and the end of the conference tourney.

And, yes, I am proud to be a Bol Bol hater (in the lottery).

What do guys think of Zylan Cheatham? He's been playing good defense, rebounding like crazy and has double digit assist games frequently. His offensive scoring skills have much to be desired, but I think with a really good skills coach they could be improved greatly. He's a guy I would look at in the 2nd round or undrafted. He kind of reminds me of a cross between Iggy and Marion.

Right now, if we got the #3 pick in the lottery and Zion and Morant have already been taken at #1 and #2, who would you want the Suns to pick as #3?

RJ Barrett without hesitation.

1. Zion
2. Trade the pick for a good vet
3. Trade down, pick up an additional asset
4. Ja Morant
5. Deandre Hunter

1. Zion
2. Trade it away. There aren't any high level PGs in this draft. Bunch of combo guards, but no one who makes us better.

Ya Ja isn’t a combo guard. He’s averaging over 10 assists a game. I’d worry that he will take time to develop and that he’s not a great fit defensively with Booker, but he’s very interesting.

For some reason, I don't think he'll take time to develop -- I just feel like he'll hit the ground running and be at least as good as Fox is this year. I think I might have said it before, but if we got the #1 pick, I would think really, really, hard about a trading it for the #2 or #3 pick and drafting Morant and picking up more assets. He's got great court vision, seems like a good defender, can shoot... he's just exactly what we need and I don't think he'll take much time to develop.

If Zion's available, you turn into TJ Warren: you never pass.

Haha, does that mean we become Boris Diaw if we land anywhere but 1?

Luckily the Suns are in the Tryin' for Zion sweepstakes. We are due for two #1 overall draft picks in a row!

I like Zion a lot, but my biggest concern is how his game is going to translate to the NBA. Is he really going to be able to get all those dunks on NBA defenses and players? I wish I could watch him play a game where he needs to hit jumpshots, or create for himself at the end of the shot clock, or bang in the post against a bigger player so he has to utilize footwork.

I like Zion a lot, but I'm not 100% sold on him. I'll be glad if we take him, but I'll definitely have FOMO with Morant.
