How are the Kings 6-3? We need to be doing whatever they did.

We should have joined the alliance when we had the chance. Who's laughing now?

They've been doing bad and irregular teams in OKC, MEM, MIA, WAS, ORL and ATL. They lost to every good team they faced in Utah, NOP and DEN. In comparison, our schedule has been brutal outside of the first game.

A small steap for an average team, a giant leap for SAC.Ring_Wanted wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 1:13 amThey've been doing bad and irregular teams in OKC, MEM, MIA, WAS, ORL and ATL. so well said. I wish we could make small steps for an average team.Hermen wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 4:00 amA small steap for an average team, a giant leap for SAC.Ring_Wanted wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 1:13 amThey've been doing bad and irregular teams in OKC, MEM, MIA, WAS, ORL and ATL. Great for Sacramento, but if they have won 2/3 of their games by the All-Star break, I'll be stunned. I don't think they are legitimately good yet. Happy for them that Bagley is mostly working out so far, and that Fox seems to be turning into a real star. (I wanted Fox in that draft...)
Re: Around the League: Week 3 10/29-11/4
They won't be by then, but they are winning the games they should, and even a few they shouldn't. We can't even keep games under 20 points.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 8:12 amGreat for Sacramento, but if they have won 2/3 of their games by the All-Star break, I'll be stunned. They drafted Fox, who we could have had instead of Jackson, and traded for Hield who we could have had instead of Bender. Those 2 are shooting very well, passing well, and rebounding. The team is mini-Portland with a very hard to stop backcourt. and solid front court play.

In other words, we need a front office.O_Gardino wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 9:59 amThey drafted Fox, who we could have had instead of Jackson, and traded for Hield who we could have had instead of Bender. Does Sarver even realize that basically every single Suns fan on the planet wants him to sell the team?

But there are so many more fans of other teams that don't want him to sell.JeremyG wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 2:11 pmIn other words, we need a front office.O_Gardino wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 9:59 amThey drafted Fox, who we could have had instead of Jackson, and traded for Hield who we could have had instead of Bender. I don't know. Even they must be a little embarrassed for us when we're blown out by halftime and never make a run. It's no fun when every time you race, you lap your opponent. I think the opposing fans would like to see at least a little bit of pushback.In2ition wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 2:16 pmBut there are so many more fans of other teams that don't want him to sell.JeremyG wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 2:11 pmIn other words, we need a front office.O_Gardino wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 9:59 amThey drafted Fox, who we could have had instead of Jackson, and traded for Hield who we could have had instead of Bender. I mostly want Sarver to sell. But we need to be careful what we wish for. If nothing else, at least Sarver keeps the team in Phoenix. As a former Seattle resident, I can tell you that it is extremely scary every time your owner puts your team up for sale. It could get bought by some out-of-state businessman who swears he wants to keep the team local but then begins plans to undermine his relationship with the city and move the team away. They could be the San Diego Suns or Kansas City Suns or Seattle Suns or whatever, if things go the wrong way.

They’d better change their name if they move to Seattle. “Seattle Suns” just doesn’t work.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 10:31 pmI mostly want Sarver to sell. Actually, that’s probably why we ended up with Sarver come to think of it haha. Jerry probably wanted to make sure he sold it to a lifelong Arizona-native Suns fan. Hopefully Sarver would do the same—except to someone who would trust the front office to make the basketball decisions.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 10:31 pmI mostly want Sarver to sell. That name definitely should have been left in New Orleans.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 11:25 pmIt might be almost half as ridiculous as "Utah Jazz."
I think we ended up with Sarver because he made the biggest offer.JeremyG wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 11:51 pmActually, that’s probably why we ended up with Sarver come to think of it haha.
