NBA News

"The veterans are skeptical of Collin Sexton, J.R. Smith is out of the rotation while waiting on a trade, a former assistant coach has sued the franchise for age discrimination because Ty Lue and upper management had allegedly openly discussed the desire to hire younger coaches when dismissing him, and Kyle Korver has been betrayed." I'd be interested in reading this article from the Athletic - https://theathletic.com/632249/2018/11/ ... -thoughts/

The Korver thing is especially interesting -- reportedly, part of the (unwritten) deal when Korver signed his current contract was that the Cavaliers would move him if LeBron left before the deal was up. LeBron left, Korver asked to be moved and ... nope. He's stuck. Bad form by the Cavaliers. - https://www.fearthesword.com/2018/11/4/ ... de-request

Just remember, every time you want to punch Ol' Bobby Foam Finger in the face, at least he's not Dan Gilbert.

Wendell Carter Jr. is a freaking stud.

He's been playing well for the past week but tonight wasn't great. He fouled out in 22 minutes on 33% shooting.

Down goes Westbrook (and my fantasy team). Looked quite similar to Gordon Hayward's injury last season.

I can't watch. What was it? Foot injury?

Most likely ankle. Worst case would involve a lower leg fracture.

He walked off(with a major limp) so not as serious as Hayward. No break. Probably just a bad sprain. I guess he could have broke his fibula, you could walk on that, but I think he just sprained it.

Post game x-rays revealed that nothing was broken. I'd be surprised if he's back in time for the game against the Suns next Monday.

Carter is a good player, and he's a good fit for that team. They are doing a really good job of getting the best out of their players.

ShelC really called it with Fox. Maybe it's time to upgrade from the C team to the B team.

Watch these highlights and this interview and try not to be impressed. He has the athleticism, the skill, and the mindset to be a star. Plus, the face and personality to get your girl to watch the game with you.

(imagine if we had him and doncic)

You need to give me and TOO credit for Stanning Tatum AND Fox as our top 2 in that draft.

Credit given. I was wrong on both of those guys. I thought they were high risk high reward players, but I didn't like their style of play in college. Both have grown a ton in the NBA and are really fun to watch.

I was on that train, too. I badly wanted those two players, in that order. I figured Boston was going to take Tatum, so my realistic target was Fox.

I was there also. Just for the record.

I was not on that train, haha. My preferred order when we picked was Isaac, Jackson, Fox. Tatum wasn't available, but he would have been after fox for me.

I was all about Jackson. Being a talent scout is probably not the best career choice for me.
