TJ is a keeper. The work he put in this summer is obvious. I am not eager to send him out any more. He rather needed to develop a decent 3 or get serious about D, and he’s done the former. He’s one of the few bright spots this year.

It’s a no-brainer to me that JJ is the odd man out now. TJ and Bridges have the 3 spot on lock down for years to come.

Would love to package JJ and our first round pick into a core piece at the 1 or 4.

TJ has played 97% of his minutes at the PF this year, and JJ has played 73% of his time at the 2 (according to bb-ref position estimates). Bridges is the only one of those 3 to spend significant time at the 3 (82%).

Which really reinforces my opinion honestly.

Josh has no business playing the 2 IMO, Booker has no business playing the 1. Once you make Booker strictly a two at 35 mpg, that’s 13 min for a backup 2. If you give Bridges 30 at the 3, TJ splitting his time at 3 and 4, there’s no minutes left for JJ other than 13 backup minutes at the 2.

I’d trade him before the entire league has given up on him. There’s no role for him on this team in the future. Bridges is our 3 of the future and I’d prefer warren to split his time with a legit bigger 4 to alternate with.

Matt Smith? Why is he telling us about last season? Hop in your TARDIS and tell us about next season, Matt!

They just said on the radio that there are only two players averaging 50-45-90 so far this season.

Steph Curry and TJ Warren.

I'd really like to know how much time TJ spent in the gym this summer. For him it wasn't a confidence issue, so he must have just put in the work. That kind of sudden, rapid shooting improvement is extremely rare.

Gambo said that a New Orleans source (Gentry?) told him that after the Suns-Pelicans game, Anthony Davis was raving about Ayton in the locker room, saying, "that kid's gonna be good, that kid is strong."

The Athletic had an article on it. He worked with a shooting coach + David West and put up approximately 42,000 shots this summer.

Sarver is at practice and shoot around. "Involved to some extent" is really playing it down.

Should an owner not be at practice or shoot around? Doesn't seem far fetched that he's the only owner that attends them.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Just wish Sarver would've gotten us a title before going full Jerry Jones. Sigh.
Jones and Vogel gotta go.

They probably did a min number of FTA, like >10. He is only at 10, so he would drop out.

If you look at 50/40/90 guys for an entire season, where they would have taken enough shots to make the leader boards, it is a REALLY select group.

9 guys.

I think the 50-40-90 club is underrated. The guys on that list are indisputably the greatest shooters in NBA history. It's almost unbelievable that Nash made the list in 4 different seasons.

Nash would have hit it in 5 seasons straight but he shot--no lie--89.9% from FT in 2006-2007. Ironically that was his best shooting year: 53-45-89.

And that year is the only year Dirk made it... Nash is wildly underrated as a shooter, and player.

It would be crazy if TJ finished the year in that club.

I also thought it was interesting that Kerr is the only person to make that list as a non-starter.

If the owner of my company sat and watched me do my day to day work, I would find a new job asap. He should watch the final product and stay out of the details of how that comes to be.
