There's not much to read into it. He's not happy with the coaching.

Well, that’s only natural. The coaching isn’t happy with him.

Their demanding him to actually play defense which he has a problem with.

He needs to realize this isn’t Sean Miller who’s gonna bend over and cater to him.

Keep in mind that nobody on this team has played more minutes than Ariza. And he is a -13 in net Ortg vs Drtg. Canaan is #4 in minutes, and he is a -20. Anderson is a -24. Whether or not Ariza is a starting level player at the 3 in this league is questionable. It is not questionable if Anderson or Canaan are. Clearly they are not, but they are for us.
That is stunning.
Yeah. I get Booker and Warren missed games, but still...

I feel a JJ or Ariza for Fultz trade is going to happen very soon.

It can't be too soon if its Ariza since he can't be traded for a month from Thursday.

Perhaps he's not happy with being told to stand out at the three point line on every possession.

Still, has a rookie ever talked that way before? I don't think even Shaq would've said something like that. Lol.

Oh yes December 15 is the date for Ariza. Thanks for the reminder UT. I thought we were deep into the season. Some changes can't come soon enough.

Who is Aaron Epps? What a nice stat line in his first and only start so far. 10 Day contract anyone?

As much as you want to wait for the deadline for the best deal, I don't know if we can wait that long on Ariza. I think he's checked out already and I get the feeling like he'll want to be moved sooner than later. Last thing we need is another trade demand/distraction. Plus Bridges will get the minutes he needs which could help turn things around in terms of energy, athleticism and defense. Also not sure we can bench or cut Ariza's minutes while waiting for the deadline.

Lots of people suggest Phoenix for Fultz. We have a huge need at pg, we suck and therefore provide a pressure free environment for Fultz to work on his game.

Fultz value is weird because he might be a lost cause, but if he figures out how to shoot again, he's a big time talent. You can't give up anything of real value for him, but a player in a similar situation might make sense. Jackson for Fultz makes sense for Phoenix. Would Philly do it? Maybe, I guess it depends on how they view Jackson. If they think Jackson just needs a better situation, they might do it.

I didn't know Bill Simmons was still a thing. Let him stick to being a Boston/New England fanboy.

I don't think we need to waste any more time on guys that don't have on-court aggression between their ears.

I don’t think we need to waste any more time on Jackson, Canaan or Crawford, so it works out.

1. That's not really Markelles issue
2. If all we're giving up is Jackson and maybe Bender, why not?
