Booker doing his best impersonation of never having seen a basketball before.
Glad I am not the only one noting that Booker is not in the library.

Bad shots, bad passes, fumbling the ball, stupid gambles on D.
We all need to meet up again and have a bitch fest.
I'll drink to that.
Man, you guys were over there having a pity party while the Suns were having their most complete game of the season. Yeah, Booker isn't quite right but he still put up a career high 12 assists tonight.

Crawford looks like the guy the Suns thought he'd be: 11 pts and 4 dimes.
He has been trying to be too unselfish. Glad to see him assert himself a little tonight.

I really like TJ, Mikal, and JJ played well within himself tonight. Ayton finally showed some damn emotion and a little aggressiveness tonight.
Good to see JJ with a solid game tonight. You can see he's trying to play within himself.

Word, I think this was Ayton's best game so far.
Easily. I loved the aggression that has been missing.

I really love what I am hearing out of Crawford in this post-game interview.
Please enlighten us. Not all of us get to see the postgame interviews.

I think the key was Bridges. When he played, the team played well. I didn't get Igor's lineup he used to start the 2nd quarter. It made no sense and it was like he was trying to let the Spurs back in the game. Also, he didn't play Bridges at all in the 2nd, which was perplexing to me. Seriously, WTF is he doing?
I think that was just because JJ was playing so well and Igor wanted to reward him.

A blowout win against the Spurs is fantastic. The only better feeling would be a blowout win against the Lakers.

Class interview.
A win and more importantly a starting 5 that set the tone early.
Not too worried about Booker, we know other teams can concentrate on stopping him more due us to not really having a second option most of the time but with Ayton 3J and Bridges stepping up other teams will have to give them more time and that should free him up a bit more.
The TO are a worry, until we get a real PG, and he can get back to not having to cover 2 positions.
Lets see what we do against the Thunder now to back this up.
What we do in life, echoes in eternity.

Wow the Suns kicked the Spurs azz. They deserved it. Pop taking us so lightly that he thought he could rest a couple of guys and still get the win. FAIL.
Pop doing Igor a solid and willing to look like the bad guy to do it. What a pal.

Yeah! That's what I'm talking about. For one night, it was fun to be a Suns' fan again! Let's build on this.
No Chandler. No Ariza. Almost no Anderson. How did we manage to win without all that veteran leadership?

We were not the only ones commenting on Booker's problems at that point.

For almost 3 quarters, he struggled.
His errors kept the Spurs in the game ... at one point he had six assists and seven turnovers.

He managed to smooth things out late in the third quarter, but up until then, he struggled.
Window is open again ... blue skies ahead?

I agree with that, but don't see why they can't play together. Starting the 2nd with a lineup of Melton Crawford, Jackson, Anderson and Holmes was a recipe for disaster. It's like he want Melton to fail. It didn't seem like it mattered that JJ played well, they just gave up points on the other end and that probably had to do with Anderson as much as anyone.

I tuned in during the 2nd half and watched most of the game from there...from the first possession I could tell the energy and hustle was a lot different. There was a bounce, guys were playing and reacting quicker, the defense was better. It was a lot more noticeable, without question. As much emphasis as there's been on "veteran leadership", the vets have been holding us back. The younger guys just play with more energy, urgency, have better length and athleticsm. Bridges, Melton, Holmes and Jackson need their playing time. I'd rather watch those guys play hard and lose than watch Ariza and Anderson drag themselves up and down the court.

I thought last night was Jackson's best game of the year; or at least he played his best stretch of basketball in the 2nd quarter. He was playing defense, getting into the lane, knocking down his 3s and had a great 2man game going with Ayton. I actually witnessed an Ayton post up where Jackson threw him the ball, Ayton threw it back out, Ayton reposted, got the ball back and then kicked it back out to Jackson for a 3. It was simple, beautiful basketball.

I think PointBooker needs to end. I think we're asking him to do too much and it's hurting the rest of his game. He's a scorer, let him score. And his ballhandling and passing just aren't good enough yet. I'd rather see Jackson or Crawford handling the ball.

wow , I have a tough decision ahead as I tend to think my online behaviour actually makes a difference to the outcome of games :D
I came on to post last night in the 1st quarter as usual about "decent start from the guys" but then I felt like it was setting up to be Celtics all over again. I decided not to post and chose to not even sign on but just lurk in the shadows and see what you guys were saying. At HT, then end of 3rd I was still like I'm not commenting until the game is over and look at that We WON convincingly so I don't think I'm posting during next game
see how well that works out :)

I really enjoyed the game as I been here still holding out hope on Josh , so it was good to see him Slow Down. I'm sure he drives us all crazy when he goes to the basket at full speed out of control usually taking his gather step from too far. Last night though he was getting by his man and then repeatedly slowing down to keep the defender on his hip fore making a shot or pass. Crawford actually been doing that effectively for years and Josh is a big fan of his so I gonna assume they worked on that especially since he's been leaning on him for advice during this low playing time period. I know most of the board out on him and gonna expect 6 bad games now after 1 solid game lol :)
Speaking of Crawford, glad to see him look to score besides when getting the ball with the shot clock running down as 'Bone rightfully pointed out he's been a little too unselfish trying to look for the young guys.
