The roster is the problem but I can't say Igor is doing a good job with what he has (note that I am talking in relative terms, abstracting from the putrid record and absurd expectations).Drewsprocket wrote: ↑Sat Nov 24, 2018 12:54 amJust stop with the “roster sure is a problem.” It’s the problem and Igor has to balance player expectations and playing whoever is up without this team chemistry collapsing. It’s the worst coaching job in the entire league right now next to Washington. Everyone is blaming players who are not living up to expectations—amidst a disorganized offense.
You can't be oblivious to the fact that you have a defensive tone setter in Bridges. That's a mistake alike to Hornacek not realizing he had a natural born socrer in Warren during his rookie season. He also had to remove Anderson asap and it took long enough that it became a stain on this young season. Canaan is getting too much time, overall and especially over Okobo.
It just makes no sense to play those guys, you are wasting time. And that's not getting into why he can't get through people's skull to have guys play transition defense, why he doesn't design something to play more through Ayton in the post or why he seems to do nothing but look impotent during other team's runs.
Look, I became a fan of Igor after what he did with Slovenia, and after Budenholzer he was my next choice, but he can do better on a number of fronts.
