If I had a time machine, one of my first actions would be to go to the past and tell Jerry that Sarver is a fucking dickwad and he'll regret selling the team to him.

He cashed out 401,000,000.00. He doesn't regret that.

I really hope the fans continue to chant, "Sarver Sucks" at every home game. I want him to know how much the fan base hates his guts.

He should. The franchise is worth over a billion now, despite horrible mismanagement.

Yup. He's kicking himself. Plus, he's got to be really depressed about what has happened to his Suns since.

But he didn't want to spend his time doing it in his 70s. He said he wanted to get his investment out before he died. He is 79 now. All franchises are growing like crazy, but if you can't use the money to enjoy your life, what is the point?

It's worth 1B now, almost 15 years after he sold for a then record amount. In the meantime he got to manage team USA and even 'saved' the 76rs from Sam 'Adolf' Hinkie. I don't think he is regreting selling, just the 'customer' he sold to.

He basically did it because he had a cancer scare and started thinking about the tax implications for his family. I seem to recall him admit as much.

Steve Kerr's the one we should blame for introducing him to Sarver.

Ironically, it was the Suns who were left with a cancer as an owner.
