Besides that, I dream of an NBA Final between the Suns and the Bucks in the near future. Suns win and revenge for that coin flip back in 69.
Nice.

I can’t believe the Suns won. The refs seemed like they didn’t want them to win. The Suns couldn’t hit a shot in the last half of the fourth quarter. Giannis doesn’t shoot ANY shot less than 6 inches from the basket and they just let him score at will. The same move over and over, drive left and then spin right.

They are improving. Their turnovers have improved. Their defense is starting to resenble defense. They keep scoring 60 in the first half. PG Booker is looking better but, did run out of gas. Lopez refused to stop shooting threes even though he couldn’t hit the ocean sitting in the row boat. Thank you Lopez!
In their defense, nobody can stop Giannis one-on-one from getting to the hoop. We need to build a wall and let others beat us. I watched the beginning of the game from the Bucks broadcast (going to finish today) and Lopez shot 4 three pointers in the first 3 minutes of the game. The very first one went in-and-out. Talk about the butterfly effect had it gone...

Technically, it was '68 before the '68-'69 season.

Nope. The 68-69 season was the inaugural season for both Bucks and the Suns, and both finished in the basement.
The coin flip for the right to draft first (for Abdul-Jabbar née Alcindor) was March 19, 1969.

LOL @ Crawford subbing himself out defensively. That is something that Kokoskov should have been on top of.
I’ve griped a bit about the overpriced over-the-hill players we got who were supposed to provide “veteran leadership,” but I think that in Crawford we finally have an over-the-hill player who actually does provide some leadership.

So I guess James Jones may be outperforming McDonough so far.

LOL @ that Bucks announcer clip. You just can't talk like that before a game. If there's any such thing as karma or jinxing, that is how you do it right there.

Just finished watching the game again. Man, I guess that freedom of movement stuff goes out the window at the end of a game. Bledsoe was literally draped all over Booker for that last possession. Grabbing, pulling, pushing, you name it.

Also, the game is being replayed right now on NBA TV as their Marquee Matchup.

The refs kind of changed the way they called the game in the last few minutes of play, imo. They let Giannis lower his shoulder and bully his way to the basket the whole game, but gave Booker the call when he did it late. Also, the non-call with Ayton at the end of the game would have been a foul on Ayton earlier.

I am with you Super, I was wondering about how they allowed Bledsoe to just keep Booker away with his defense.
